I'm quite disturbed by Edifier's statement too, having a fluctuation of build quality by Cherry doesn't sound right, especially if it's region based.

Looks like Ducky has just recently announced their new line of 9008 G2 product.
Here it is; http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/products1-5.html Apparently they are now using "embedded" keycaps with no printings on them o.O Looks sexy as hell if you'd ask me <(^.^<)<(^.^)>(>^.^)> |

Black Widow
-Blue switches -Glossy finish -Macro keys SS 6Gv2 -Black switch -Textured plastic finish -No macro keys Performance-wise, depends on what type of switches does the user prefer. As for quality, many people have been complaining about the rubberized surface of the keycaps of the black widow fading after a while. In my opinion, I would say SS 6Gv2 has better quality overall, not to mention that the glossy finish of the black widow will attract scratches if not taken care of carefully. However do take into consideration the SS 6Gv2 lacks macro keys, which might prove useful if you play MMOs. This post has been edited by KepalaRadio: May 11 2011, 03:40 AM |

SS 6Gv2 has superior quality imo. I've tried using both before and the SS has a much more solid feel to it.

I'm quite sure you will be able to find some Duckies on PCHome. A bunch of my friends just got like 3-4 1008s from there a few weeks ago.

That's a real beauty, kEazYc. Might I ask, are the keycaps ABT or PBS? I'm still unsure of how the two materials differ in terms of feel and texture. I myself have just order 2 sets of blank PBT whites and reds that should be arriving some time this week.
