Ah i see, so that's the difference. I think I would prefer the textured feel of PBT. Since my first (and only) mechanical keyboard came with PBT, already got used to them. Also, wouldnt blank white ABS get dirtier much faster compared to blank PBTs?

Also, if I'm not mistaken PBTs tend to be more expensive than ABS.

Hi biatche.

Right now, the best way for us Malaysians to get our hands on a Ducky 9008 is to order via PCHome, which is an Taiwanese online shopping site. The cost would vary depending on what kind of keycaps the keyboard comes with. If i remember correctly, one of my friend purchased a 9008 Ducky with Laser-Etched PBTs for around RM400, and another one purchasing a black on black ABS for around RM330.

The DAS silent is definitely not 'silent', as they use brown switches. They probably used that statement in relation to the extremely loud clicks of blue switches

I know a shop in SG that sells Ficos for 200SGD, which is about the same price you can get a Filco from Moderno over here in Malaysia.

If you're near Petaling Jaya or Subang Jaya I'll just head over there and pick it up lol, if not then I guess I'll have to resort to Pos Laju as well.

I just got two sets of PBT blanks from Taobao, very very satisfied with them. The build quality is superb from what i can tell, and the reds are really bright!

The top one is black and red, PBT.
The bottom one is my friend's blank and pink, ABS.

The two keyboards are both Ducky 9008s smile.gif You can order the pink keycaps from taobao, but i seem to have lost the link, sorry >.<

As for the ducky 1008, yes it is good, but compared to the higher ends such as the Filco and 9008, it is slightly lighter. Having said that the overall build is still quite solid. I would like to however suggest you to pay a little extra (~RM80-100) for the higher end 9008.

I've got 3 friends using 1008 and they seem to have no problem with them so far smile.gif In fact they are loving it.

Purchase online via PCHome, shouldnt cost more than RM280, unless you get PBT Laser-etched keycaps.

Looks pretty solid, but we can't really judge the build quality from pictures alone D=

Can anyone suggest me a keyboard which the alphabet never get come off after some time ?
Currently using logitech multimedia k/b having this problem...

In that case, it's not about the keyboards but the keycaps. The SS6Gv2/7G is known to have keycaps that yellow relatively fast compared to the other keyboards, and the Razer BW's keycaps has a rubberized coating surface, meaning that after some time of usage, the rubber coating will "peel off". I would suggest you to get Filco, PLU or Ducky (I assume they are the ones that are easier to get than the others) and request for laser-etched keycaps. Or even better, order doubleshots.

I think the FKBN87M/EB are circa RM400 and the FKB104M/EB are circa RM335. are they reasonable compared to local ones?

I see from the list Ducky have more followings than Filco. Are Ducky better? Topre seems way too expensive for my blood sad.gif

I've used both and Filco has a shorter "travel distance" meaning that keycaps are "shorter", based on my experience.
