i couldn't tell the difference between the cable and the long one that came with.. still sounds as great as normal..

on the other note, i rode my motorbike with my rig today... i left the rig in the basket on my bike.. when i rode to uni, i could hear noise thats in sync with my bike's vibrations... the noise is digital jitters, somehow in sync with my bike! when i rev high, the noise goes up as well..

but when i stop and turn off the engine, no noise... hhmm... do you think this is from CLAS? or?

i don't think its microphonics.. but yeah i think i agree with tunertoobe.. must be the ignition or smth... but weird cause either broadcasts or receives any thing.. any links to this phenomenon? kinda interested in it lol..

the basket doesn't vibrate that much, unless the screws are lose... i'm thinking of slapping it on the speedometer instead lols..

now i have to put the giant thing in my back or pocket argh..

its a step up from my iMod, with black gate caps that is... the instrument separation better, more refined, sharp and crystal clear and musical power.. sound stage wise, its very hard for me to judge imma soundstage noob, but definitely more 3D'ness.. imaging way better.. a worthy upgradeee...

my only regret? erm, battery life gua, with CLAS, both the CLAS device and ipod will last around 10-12hrs, whichever dies first lol... its a minus point, considering ipod can last 40hours! (never tested this)..

never tried this against DACport or Larvy.. but a few respectable forumers here said its better than DA11 in a way that it makes low kbps mp3 sound bearable.. I listen to 128kbps streaming radio, love the sound..

other than that, go ahead man you won't regret...

lol thats the problem with our rigs.. one fails, ALL FAILS.. unless we're willing to settle with normal HP out... but i doubt so

yup.. i stand behind my words, it is a step up from iMod... When i got my imod, i thought its the endgame for my portable rig.. Till CLAS came around

yup imod is clean and good instrument separation... CLAS like i said, is an upgrade to that...

you should find your way to audition one and hear it yourself.. trust your ears not ours! but you can always have a pre-mindset before hand... i hope we don't oversell it!

Got a new transporting case!! OtterBox 3250 from eBay...




it fits everything nicely with extra room space.. i reckon it will fit Stepdance V1's size amps... the interior is well padded and is very very solid outside.. totally waterproof and crushproof...

HOWEVER, there is no pressure valve like the pelican series... its a very funny story lol.. I was on the plane back to sabah, I took out my rig and left my glasses inside for safety lol.. upon landing, I COULD NOT FREAKING OPEN IT.. lol the air pressure is different inside and on land.... Had to drive without my specs and at home i had to soak it in boiling water before prying it open.... hahaha bad experience...

but overall a good box

haha my slim is not big enough to attract attention like you lol.. but i agree, your bag is more portable.. my otterbox is actually quite heavy and bulky.. but gives me a peace of mind..
