and guess what: that 11 July "approval" was just date of processing in the sytem, not even approved! i submitted to branch just before Raya so, it took 1 month for the forms to "walk itself" over to affin cc dept then "walk into" the system. yep, that sounds about the right progress indeed.
asked to cancel the application instead, and guess what again, i cannot do that over call. i need to WRITE to them. good.
wrote one long nasty email to affin, cc-ed to BNM. few minutes later, one rep called and said to process my application (what?! again?). told her i'm expecting approval status, NOT processing progress which was not moving for the past 1mth+.
anyway, i told her to cancel the application ASAP without anymore delay, excuses, etc. told her i will keep monitoring this, just in case they conveniently "forgot" to terminate the card, knowing their so-called progress.
1 less card to manage. really not worth the hassle and of course the incoming SST (if any).

I facing really annoying problem when try to apply for CIMB Lazada Prepaid Card. Their system keep saying the information I key in for my personal detail is incorrect. Stuck at the registration page. When I email to CIMB to ask what is the solution, 1 month passed and no respond from them yet.
Can I actually involve BNM into my problem so CIMB can actually put this matter as urgency?
