the 2x is possibly for new ecard member.

i can only compare mine and other new members. old/existing members, no idea.

heck, the 2x also not published anywhere, no idea what is the T&C or period to earn 2X. 

My application for AFFINBANK BHPetrol Credit Card is finally approved on 16 Oct after two months of processed. 

- Mid of August : First submission, walking in to the branch, that is before SST
- After two weeks : Rejected due to using recycle paper 
- Re-submit within a week with new application.
- After two weeks (mid of Sept) : Rejected again due to signature issued, it cannot be computer signed, but request for manual signature.
- Re-submit within a week with manual signature with two credit card application forms, one for edit PDF detail format (look more clear), another one using pen to fill up.

Such a long process and in between I keep calling them to follow up.

No approval SMS received, but the staff called to inform me, otherwise, I will escalate AGAIN.

Spend RM200 within 30 days from the issuance date, cash back of RM40.00 will be credited to my credit card account.

10% cb is straightforward and attractive. worth the effort to apply it (i.e. tedious application process/time)

ending Nov 2019, have 1yr left, which is still darn good. who knows later got new cc introduced with other benefits.

sudah hit rm25 sst @ 30 July. Called CS @ 31 July to ask for rebate (if any).

CS said only use points to redeem. Told her since this card is exclusively used for petrol, obviously no points accumulated

Since 3% VS card is incoming (if approved), immediately asked CS to cancel the card (and cancel the SST together).

Still waiting for cancellation news. Card still listed in AffinOnline.
