Received this sms just now. So this means Petronas officially  accepts AMEX now?
*
I guess so.... Maybe Klang Valley's Petronas stations has been "upgraded" to accept & approve AMEX transactions at the pump.

QUOTE(qqbill @ Jan 24 2013, 11:11 PM)
only able to cash out when it's accumulated to rm20

for my case, accumulated at december until rm50, supposed to credit in the next bill...
so i only used for rm30+ in this current month... and it credited rm30+ in my current bill.. this month statement cleared to 0.00

but now my reward tracker become 15.++.... means i got to accumulate it again and get it back after 2-3 month later....

so my advise is that use mininum 80+ in order to clear it to zero.. and cut it afterward  brows.gif not a good card on fuel  yawn.gif

Best advice from a former Citibank Shell Cash-Back card user

Refer to post #24,

As for Mesra card, I asked the counter they mention

RM 1 = 1 points for buying stuff in the shop

For petrol, 1 liter or RM1.90 for Ron 95 which is 1 points

Lets say for example bought

For Mesra Shop buy RM50 (accumulated from maybe buying snack, cigarette & etc) =  50 points

Petrol 50 liter = RM95 = 50 points

total points 100 points = RM 1 fuel

total spend RM 145 get RM 1 fuel so the percentage is 0.69%  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Just need Taikor here to confirm my assumption....because there someone calculated at 0.526%.... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif
*
You should calculate on fuel purchase : 50/95 = 0.526% doh.gif doh.gif
You cannot add with Kedai Mesra purchase because that's 1% on its own

I don't think Shell has such function for self-service refill, only Petron/Esso/Mobil can preset amount so far.
*
Shell does have presets : RM10 / RM20 / RM30 / RM40 / RM50
Some label as P1 / P2 / P3 / P4 / P5

thanks for the clarification, mind to guide us how to use it? Example like should we press it before we insert credit card/bonuslink or after?
*
I've no personal experience in using the preset.
I assume : BonusLink > Credit Card > Preset button > Fill > Receipt

if not mistaken, shud be
Preset button > BonusLink > Credit Card > Fill > Receipt
*
louyit asking for Preset button usage.... actually there's another useful button RM Round-Up
You use this with Auto-Pump until it clicks. Then you press RM Round-Up to round up to the nearest RM1.00
Eg. Stop at RM64.55, round up goes to RM65.00 ngam ngam

Yes, there is no "petrol" mentioned in the category column.
Strangely, some have, some don't; even though I always pump at the same station.
I thought it might be a problem with the station itself, so starting this month, I have started to pump at another station, just for comparison.

Always remember the pump no. and use that always.

QUOTE(victorywp @ Jul 1 2015, 11:21 AM)
now petrol price no longer based on world crude oil price. it has been politicised. during earlier by-elections, petrol price is maintained although there is a slight increase in average world crude oil price. but when there is a huge drop in average world crude oil price, surprisingly the price is increased by 10 cents! all assume the price will maintain, if not reduce. perhaps they use it to cover back the earlier "lost" during by-elections. and the worst thing is that there will be no news about increase/decrease until midnight. so they suka-suka can decide in the last minute.
*
It's good move to announce the price change at midnight, as to avoid "crazy jams & queues" around petrol stations by idiots.

Sorry, I should rephrase it
from:
Just came back from BHP DamansaraJaya, must pay cash for this promo over-the-counter, but don't know about other BHP.
to:
Just came back from BHP DamansaraJaya and it declined to accept credit card for this promo (over-the-counter), same for other BHP?

If not because I have used up all my HLB-Wise CB for this month, this extra (12-10)% is too troublesome.
*
Previously the LINE promo RM5 don't need to use cash... only think it must swipe inside the cashier (so WISE rebate won't work).
BHP : TTDI & Old Klang Road 3 1/2
