plug in a 3 pin power cord to your NIC and power it on. That will allow you to access MMU electri'network grid which has blazing 10Gbps speed. Then go your fav browser type in www.facepalm.com to access your FB

Supplementary Exam returns, Re-sit and Special Exam abolished

“The Senate had decided to re-adopt Supplementary Examination and abolish the current Re-sit Examination and Special Examination,” the Examinations and Records Unit (ERU) announced Friday July 8.

The re-adopted Supplementary Examination will take effect beginning Trimester 1, 2011/2012 and there will be a Supplementary Examination Administrative Fee charge of RM50.00 per subject.

According to the announcement made by ERU, the eligibility of a student to sit for supplementary examination is not granted automatically and has to be recommended by the Board of Examiners (BOE) for Senate approval. There are two types of recommendations, i.e. eligibility to sit for supplementary examination as:

1st attempt (Grade I)
2nd attempt (Grades C-*, D+*, D* and F*)
Supplementary Examination would be granted for genuine MC or special cases as first attempt and for “Fail” subject as second attempt with conditions that:

coursework marks must be a minimum of 50%, AND
Final Exam score must be a minimum of 40%
Supplementary Examination will be held within the first week of the commencement of the new trimester. For Supplementary as second attempt, a student, by recommendation by the BOE, can only take a maximum number of supplementary examination as follow:

14-week trimester: maximum of 3 papers
8-week trimester: maximum of 2 papers
For more comprehensive information, students may refer to the Supplementary Examination guidelines published by the ERU. Those who wish to seek further clarification may contact the ERU via email: exam@mmu.edu.my.

The re-adoption of Supplementary Examination marks the reversal of the Re-sit Examination and Special Examination policies, introduced only two years ago, in 2009.
