I tried it the other day but of course not for model shooting.
do you think it will be a problem for selling a micro lens?
*
not really ... 60mm with Nano coating ... quite good ... some people even use the 105 micro for portraits as well ...

Cheapest macro would be the Tamron SP90, image quality is pretty good.

Anybody knows the price to replace a zoom ring rubber like the thin Nikkor 17-55mm DX?
*
I think the price is about RM200-RM300. You're referring the zoom ring rubber peeling right?

No good, the focusing distance for a 1:1 magnification is very very close. Which means for macro purpose you go so near to the subject that you don't have space to deploy your lightings.

I'm guessing a 16.2MP FX sensor, with all the features D7000. The new RGB sensor, EXPEED2, 1080p etc and maybe a CF + SD card perhaps.

Somehow I feel that Nikon always cap their MP count each version. The D700 is inline with D3, D90 D300, D300s and D5000.

At the moment the new generation released so far is D7000 and D5100 which is both 16.2MP. Most likely the D400, D4 and D800 would be coming with similar MP count but in FX sensor biggrin.gif. And no doubts, the ISO performance would be better than D7000 in this matter with lower pixel density.

ISO is the main thing actually. Don't really bother about MP. laugh.gif

Will be better of course LOL. Look at D3s 12MP FX sensor. If the same technology deployed to the new sensors it will be great xD.

Yah. I want D3s technology on new sensor with 2016 RGB metering flex.gif
Dual CF / SD card slot with full HD movie. Then I'm a happy man biggrin.gif

Somehow I think dual CF would be reserved for the D4 series perhaps, but a CF + SD seems possible though. My 2 cents.

Following D300s.
If so, would rather have dual SD. Easy but the speed not as fast as CF sad.gif

I would say the upcoming FX bodies would be around there. I'm however looking forward for a better AF system. More cross sensor spread out as compared to current 15AF points in middle only :S.
