What you witness was tyre lock, it is normal
You have to pump the brakes to avoid the tyres from locking, however if it is too late (the situation doesn't favor you), even a car with ABS won't be able to stop in time

Of course, you keep on holding on the brakes, your tyres will lock and you can't control the car, it will still go forward due to the momentum

If you let go and repump your brakes, your tyres won't be locked anymore and you can get your control back. For ABS cars, they prevent you from locking the tyres so that you have enough time to swerve the car to avoid an accident. What if you have no choice but to remain in that lane with no where to swerve? A car with ABS won't be able to stop you from hitting the car in front too if it is too late

its not pushing the engine forward la... its just holding it in place so it does not rock forward and backward upon acceleration....

works same or almost similar to having solid engine mount... minus the disadvantage of shaky dashboard which occur if use solid engine mounts...

Roof lining RM 85 per piece ? The one on the side of the roof right ? Damn that's quit a lot. Mine the lock all broken down. The rear tip jutting out and if sometimes drive too fast, it flaps. Is it possible to make the lining alone or it comes together with the roof, meaning I have to replace my roof then ?

anyway, any1 knw how to tune injection engine? i tune mine till headache d.. the foreman help me tune until 1.5k when my car turn on.. pick up is nice but when trafic jam sure suck all my fuel
any pro can gv me a helping hand? wat is the correct rpm when v start our car with A/C on and A/C off?

Yes same as mine but not consistent all the time since the previous TB problem. Sometimes it kicks gets so low the engine feel a near death experience.

i cannt find a good tuner.. T_T i went to proton service center and they offer me rm60 per computer tuning.. but i reject.. i tune myself slowly n i think i get the best tuning d.. it is stable after i start ngine, which is 1k rpm and when i turn on the aircon, it drop to 700-800 range, and i think tats the best tune for me, will stop tuning it as it almost close to the right tune   i'm kia si! worry later tb kong

Well, as long as is double layer, should be good enoguh.... The rm600 story is when you buying insurance for the wind screen.....
Just make sure it is not single layer as it will be very dangerous when hit by stone.....

Double layer = when hit by stone, it will have a crack on that spot and slowly grow on a single direction. After reach the end, it will start another direction....
On this, better don't get your windscreen to subject to thermal shock, else it will crack faster and more...
As it is double layer, only outer layer cracks, the inner layer will "hold" the out layer.

Single layer = cheaper and when a stone hits, it will crack like a normal glass. In Malay, hancur berkecai..... And very messy also to clear it up.

My explanation might not be good, haha.....
