Hi i need some help!....installing windows VISTA Ent.

processor 4 3.0e socket 478
m/b: socket 478 asus p4p800-x
2gb ram 4x512 kingston value ram
gecube 512mb x1600 pro agp
creative sound blaster live
250gb WD hdd partition into 3 drives

the problem is when installation.... it goes all the way until it reaches the part where complete installation half way through it will restart the pc.
then when upon restart it will say some problem and wants to safe mode, safe mode with networking... and so on
then i choose start windows normally then it will come out with the windows vista loading bar then the whole screen goes blank....
nothing at all!

i have already flash my m/b bios to the latest one...
is there anything i miss out?
is it because of my graphic card? is there a way i can flash my graphic card as well?

please help!

I am going to purchased Vista Home Premium OEM after this CNY. Can LYP do installation for u with all the driver i provide? How much will they charge?

well, I am now thinking of reformating and reinstalling XP back into my disk again. After using Vista exclusively I find that a lot of things don't work well and not Vista compatible like my external drive, Ulead Movie 10, PowerDVD, Nero, my BM-BI/BI-BM dictionary Kamus Dewan, Encarta 2007, and sometimes OpenOffice Writer won't close and Yahoo Messenger (latest) won't start.

Furthermore, my Divx encoder pack doesn't work with Vista and that's a huge bummer.

Klite didn't work and I using windows vista ultimate x86 now.
But Klite work well on RMVB files.But when play .ogm and .mkv files it pop out missing codec.

Anybody here using Windows Vista & Sony Ericsson's phone, can you get the Sony Ericsson PC Suite to work?

I've tried Vista RTM version before, and can't get the PC Suite to install. IIRC, it prompt an error that I need Windows XP to install the program.  I've tried running the installer in XP Compatibility mode, but it still won't work.

Since Vista final version has been released (and Sony Ericsson probably has updated the PC Suite to support Vista), anybody can get the PC Suite to work now? I checked at Sony Ericsson's site and it mention that the OS requirements are Windows 2000 SP3/SP4, XP SP1/SP2 (Professional and Home). It didn't mention Vista at all. 

want to ask, will a directx 10 graphic card make any difference to the AERO function compared to a directx 9 graphic card?
will it be better? my vista experience index is 4.0

Yup, full version. I'm not sure whether it's retail or OEM version. They're not giving Vistas in Retail boxes for sure. To get the Vista, we must bring your Student ID and a piece of blank DVD. Each student will be given unique cd-key. According to the MS rep, the cd-key is valid till 2012.

my friend tells me that all the vista in the market are ultimate copy inside the DVD.but the difference lies in the product key only, which will then determine the version of vista that's going to be installed. is that true?
i'm asking becoz i've never browse through the disc for home and ultimate.

I know that it must be the other way around but I'm not planning to use vista until I've enough money to upgrade. Actually, I just want to try the new OS.

Not necessary both of partition empty. Previously, I already have install winxp in drive C:, and some file and folder in drive D:. I have no problem installing vista in the drive D:, and all files and folder previously in drive D: is intact.

is it thru that window vista ultimate can play XBOX360 games??

my campus had the launch of this windows vista and we were shown demo of X360 game running on a big plasma TV in Windows Vista Ultimate version.........
