i think JenLOI is the only one who reported about HTC Sync issue..

that normal la bos.~ 3hours non stop of course drained battery like Niagara Waterfalls..

well mine is 3.0.5439.. never update and never bother about it as it didn't give me any problem at all..

ya loh, suddenly everyone switching back to Sense UI..

ARHD, LeeDroid, CoreDroid, RCMix are based on Sense UI.. it's a Sense ROM.. while CM7 is AOSP ROM..

AOSP and Vanilla is same. without 3rd party UI like HTC Sense, Touchwiz etc.. something like that.

ya lo.. but from time to time, CM7 team always find a way to solve that problem.. i.e battery drain fix patch. but who knows later got other method to solve battery drain issue on CM7.

that link you attached is the same guide in XDA. i just crop to make it a bit simple to read.

and fyi, CWM and nandroid cannot be download.. you need to have ROM Manager and this app can be download from Market. just follow the steps and you will know after that.
