i shall ask is maxis running on 900 & 1800 GSM band only when making voice call?
oni video call that's going to use the 3G? do i need to "activate" 3G service or as long as my mobile is supporting it + i can make video call, i'll b using WCDMA automatically?

I don't care abt bootloader sign..but the rooted is more important to me...until now rooting still not successful ...normally rooting is ezy..but not for IS....huhu..wait n see bcoz dev from China also hard work on this....

I cannot use more than 1 month android without rooted...haha...y??
-Android market so boring without root
-cannot totally clear the cache like superuser..
-battery sucks
-cannot theme ur phone
-cannot use setcpu
-cannot hack build pro

And bla..bla...bla....

i think i'll stop by the digi center after ching beng

temp root has been achieved. It's perm root that is still in the works, and perm root requires the unlocking of the bootloader (aka s-off), which cannot be done unless the devs have the key to sign it, which they do not have.

In short, crack the bootloader, perm root will achieved. Like I mentioned in the previous few page, s-off has been achieved via hardware intervention (XTC clip).

as long as u switched to WCDMA/GSM u are on the go for using 3G service.
But if i'm not wrong, u're using prepaid right? that option is basically for data usage.
