Well, you should drop by once in a while to see whether there's news of new models or not laugh.gif

Hi, i need some recommendation in choosing a suitable laptop...
1. Brand - any brand with a reliable spec is acceptable for me smile.gif

2. Budget - around 2.5k but not over 3k

3. Spec - i5 or i7 is cool for me but best is still i7 la smile.gif ,
for graphic that is able to support games like Fifa11 or company of heroes.
Don't mind on the battery life.
2gb RAM at least but the best is with 4gb RAM and a 500GB hdd capacity.
14" and above is minimun for screen but i would prefer 15" =D.

Any reply will be very much appreciated...

Gonna need a laptop to replace my ailing lappy. (Currently having random glitchy graphic error).

1. Brand.
No preference

2. Budget.
RM2-3k. Lower is better obviously.

3. Specs.
Something that can run DX10 games reasonably well. Things like Mass Effect 2 and Supreme Commander is a good sample.

Battery life is not a concern. Weight is also not a concern. (aka heavy laptops are ok)

4. Size.
15" is ideal. 17" would be great, but probably will be too expensive.

Performance should be roughly the same,
Battery life, Dell M102z has 56Wh, HP DM1z has 55Wh, 1215B has 56Wh, roughly same battery as well...
But M102z can upgrade to 8-cell 90Wh,
Weight, seems like 1215B is lighter...
Ideapad S20 no idea.

Dell Inspiron 15R, i7 2630QM + nVidia GT525M@RM2699
