From what I was told, Premier Miles comes with 12 free access(2 hours) to PPL at KLIA and LCCT per year. The Priority Pass can be used in Overseas Lounge for two free access. There will be a charge of RM90(5 hours) for using Priority Pass at PPL Malaysia.

for UOB Prefered Plat free access to Plaza Premium Lounge KLIA, LCCT & Senai (subject to monthly access quota of first 400 shared equally among the 3 lounges). Normally fully taken up in the 1st week.

If I remember correctly the 12 complementary lounge accesses are shared by both the principal and supplementary card members per calendar year.


Heard that PPL is going to open at Langkawi Airport.

Does this condition "Use of PriorityPass to access PPL at KLIA lounges will incur a charge of RM90" applies to LCCT and Senai PPLs?

I think UOB prefered plat card no longer provide free access to PPL.

Bro, any reason why you are not considering Bank Rakyat which has higher interest rates?

BTW, I think CITI VS card still the best for Local Airports' Lounge access.

You can also apply for the free Priorty Pass which grants you two accesses to PPL/other international-approved lounges. You can use these 2 free accesses for your guests.

I have not used Priority Pass at the LCCT's PPL but according to GenX you can use it, as stated in his blog:

I have just called the CITI CS and according to him I can only use the Priority Pass for overseas airports.

You mean you used the PriorityPass card issued with CITI PremierMiles Card at the PPL LCCT , signed on the charge slip but not charged any amount?
When was that, this year?
You used it for yourself or guest?

By end of 2012, there will be a PPL at Penang airport. Next year two more PPL at KK and Kuching airport. Hopefully there will be a card that provide complimentary accesses to all PPL in Malaysia.

Do supplementary cardholders of SCB Preferred World MasterCard enjoy this benefit too or only for principle cardholder ?
This lounge is diff from PPL?

Could only find PPL and airline-owned lounges at the KLIA satellite building, based on KLIA website(maybe not updated).

Now that Citibank going to stop providing complementary access to PPL for PremierMiles & Platinum cardholders, I need to start looking for a replacement. Will go thru your blog on this matter , hope it is uptodate.

Hardly use KLIA as I normally travel by AirAsia and Firefly. So would like to access all other PPL (esp LCCT) in the country.

My PremierMiles card is due for renewal next month (after 2 years) and I have been thinking of cancelling it. This is the very reason I will keep it. Thank you so much.

Receive the new PP card to replace the 2 year-old card without reapplying. At the same time receive an sms asking me to use 2000 PM points to redeem for the GST. But no mention of annual fee, guess I have to call the CS for waiver.

My last year spending for PM is ~rm10000. PP usage is based on calendar year. My previous PP is valid for year 2011 & 2012. The new card is for 2013 & 2014 and 2 complementary accesses per calendar year.
I have just called the CS to redeem the Govt Tax using 2000 PremierMiles Points. He also approve the waiver of the annual fees.
