How come OCBC online cannot pay TM bill? It says only applicable to Credit Card Holders? What does it mean?
*
You got it the other around.
TM Bill can be paid using CASA only ... OCBC Credit Card cannot be use for TM Bill payment.
Alternative is to pay via TM Online or go to your nearest TMPoint

once i maxed out RM1k each month spending, it's free annual usage bonus of RM50... (RM1k x 12 = RM12k >RM10k requirement.)

if u have 1 phone number + 1 streamyx, u get rm4.

if u have 2 phone numbers + 1 streamyx, u get rm6.

and so on ~
*
If I have 1 primary phone line, 1 supplementary phone line, 2 Streamyx, do I get RM8 rebate ?

Just curious when did this card launch?

Added on November 5, 2011, 4:56 pmHow do you guys check the MCC code? The cc receipt does not have this MCC code indicated?
*
Launched slightly more than a year ago.. around Sep 2010.
MCC codes are not known. You may call the CS to enquire a particular merchant's MCC.

I applied OCBC titanium card using their terminal beside the ATM, I am very impressed by their efficiency. The card was approved instantly with the credit stated on the computer screen.
*
Is that terminal at OCBC HQ ?

did you guys receive pamphlet informing that OCBC cards get extra 2% rebate for overseas? Promotion starts on21st Nov to8 January 2012. However, only RM8K per week is allocated for this promo! On top of that, max rebate per cardholder limited to RM100 through out the promotion period!!!
*
Let me check my Paper Statement when it arrives in the next few days....
Is the 2% on top of the existing monthly cash-back quota of RM50 ?

Maxis Centre @ The Gardens uses MCC code 4812 "Telecommunications Equipment including telephone sales"

Thus, IT IS NOT ADVISABLE to pay your phone bills there ;-)

i think u dun get wat i mean la.. doh.gif doh.gif

i can assume the rebates and do it in excel but everything total sure >Rm50.. doh.gif

what i mean is, i wont know what i assumed is correct or not unless its <RM50 or ocbc break down the calculations for me..
*
You can always call OCBC CS line to enquire the MCC code for each treansaction you make.
They can tell you directly as its shown on their screen. OCBC don't need to call you back after "researching".

If you hit RM50 consistently thumbup.gif sweat.gif , it doesn't matter how they calculate.
I keep each record to ensure I hit the target RM50 just right (with few sens added)

how about auto debit ? can they check which MCC code is it ?
*
Why not ??
It's good to check the MCC so we can know why a merchant doesn't get 5%.
I always ask OCBC if my 5% assumption is wrong. Also to update my first post.
