i really have no idea in flashing the compass fixx. need help

question:

1)i downloaded the boot-img-test 6, then i extracted the file to the GT-I5505 folder, the file name extracted is "boot" and file type is dics image file?

2)so, i will open the odin multidownload, i check on "one package", "autoreboot", "protect OPS"?

3)under the "select OPS". i select the "EUROPA _v.1.0.ops?

4)under "select one integrate PAckage, i click on the "one package box, but i cant select the "boot file"

help me

its not disc image.. it should be .tar.. dont extract twice.

ya. done flashing the compass fixx. just to confirm:

1) there is no to go through wipe data/factory reset for this compass fix steps rite?

2) i need to reinstall all the application that i have backup from my SD card?

3) i lost all my message in handcent!! possible to get it back?

lost? it could be lost.. flash boot.img aka compass fix wont touch you data partition. so it should not lost. sorry , cant recover. enjoy the compass.

dont need to do anything after flash it. just use the compass .

i lost my galaxy 5. what is the market price nw?

can anyone help?i tried the APPSD method..i folow the instruction.

1)i root my phone by using universal androot which already installed when i flashed to 2.0.9

Then, i use the MAD team APPSD application which has been installed as well together with the the 2.0.9

i selectapp2SD size 1000mb(i got a 8 gb memory card)

swap scrip 200mb

then i follw the instruction, press partition. whilerebooting, i takut out my memory card to reformat. but, the computer said cant reformat, which i oso dunoe why. then i put back my memory card, and press the reboot system, then my memory card now become blank......

did i miss any steps?T_T

It happen to me before... before proceed to Mad Team APP2SD, u need to back-up first. Then copy n paste all ur backup data in ur sdcard to ur pc. If u don't, the process will wipe all ur files inside ur sdcard..

Now your SD card can't be formatted and it's blank (unusable). But don't worry, follow the following steps you can have back your SD card to use as good as new :

1) Download the Partition Wizard Home here (don't worry, it's free) - http://download.cnet.com/Partition-Wizard-...4-10962200.html

2) Use this Partition Wizard to :

a) delete partition

b) wipe partition

b) format partition

3) Close the Partition Wizard

4) Use your pc to format the the SD card.

5) Then open back the Partition Wizard.

6) Create the necessary partitions (Merge/Resize Partition menu) , i.e. a) FAT32 b) ext4 - both must be primary, then c) swap

7) Done, enjoy!

hi, i follw this, but i installed handcent and shazam aplication, it is still using my internal memory..how?

and in the manage application there, i cant press on the move to SD card?

i got a 8 gb memory card, i run the MODteam appSD, i selected 1000 mb for app2sd script, and 200mb for swap script. and now my external memory become 5.93 gb. does it mean that i i have pertitioned it successfully?

please advise

u still need to run magic partition coz u stil didnt set your partition as ext2 and ext4 iirc
