QUOTE(Poadster @ Apr 9 2011, 01:35 PM) I agree, adding VS and GC helps, my lights are brighter, my radio slightly better reception (but still sucks...!!), and the car is lighter and throttle much responsive at low end... Any brand to reco? Not looking at sub. I still love my boot space. Hehe. Just comp set and amp.For the seat belt hook, just lift up the back seat and you will find it under there, then just snap it back into place (there are two slots to push the clip back)... simple DIY... Added on April 9, 2011, 1:44 pm Sothys: Me??? Mine HU is stock standard wor..... fremont88: U can get a good component set for fronts, and a normal(ish) speakers for back, and a good sub for the boot. Just be aware that our boot has a metal bar across it, and the standard height is less than 12 inches (even lessser on the sides).... so u need to customize the box instead of buying a standard 12inch sub box... |

QUOTE(ts1 @ Apr 18 2011, 02:10 PM) just got my car..mechanic said one of the battery connector loosen as such lack of power go to ecu..everything haywire You know, when I got my VS fixed, bro erictioh mentioned to me that my connector to the battery was not properly tightened. Basically can just take out!! He showed me that he can just remove it out by just lifting it.after i kena screwed by proton, screwed back the terminal connector said problem solved...keep my fingers cross I did not think much of it, as it is now tightened, but after hearing your case, scary. All of us should go and check the battery connectors asap man, just to make sure. |

QUOTE(cle900706 @ Apr 19 2011, 04:17 PM) i fixed front first. stability was much better during high speeds. then i fixed the rear anti roll. immediate different feeling. before fix, when moving ard 170 ish, back feels a bit floaty, but after fix, stable.cornering time, also feels more sturdy and feel more confident. original inspira anti roll was only 4mm, very tiny and thin. |

QUOTE(cle900706 @ Apr 19 2011, 04:28 PM) 4mm!!!!! are u sure??? front strut bar, not anti roll, and rear anti roll. fix both is enough. I fixed it RM 170 and RM 450 respectively. Dunno ex or not, but I always go there recently. how much for front and back? both also antiroll bar? im opting for strut bar, but my bro say the improvement is veryvery significant. he said antiroll is wiser choice. can giv me the place u install address or website? The shop is same row as Murni, near the corner, beside Hainan Tea house. 61-8,JALAN SS2/75 PETALING JAYA My original anti roll bar.... Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(RahXeph0n @ Apr 19 2011, 06:54 PM) Our rear anti-roll/sway is 16mm if i remember correctly. tks for the correction bro, appreciate it.Autofoam is not better in terms of handling than UR bars as far as I know. This is taken from comments at the autofoam thread in FnF Technical section. The only (and major) negative is if you meet an accident, the areas that are foamed cannot be knocked back. It doesn't make the car significantly heavier, as foam is light. UR bars are definitely heavier if you use the necessary ones to increase chasis rigidity. |

guys, i got 2 questions...
1. Is K & N drop in filter a worthwhile purchase? 2. 10k service coming up, planning to change to fully syn. Just go for Petronas Syntium 1000, or get other alternatives? Tks. |
