The FA is scared. Not banning Rooney meaning favoring united and will get bashing from other clubs. Banning Rooney is safer.

2 match ban for the F-word? While there are players sliding in with 2 footed challenges escaping with nothing more than a yellow card?
Well done FA. Truly well done. This post has been edited by viNcee: Apr 5 2011, 01:08 AM |

![]() Credit to republikofmancunia.com for the picture. Not even a yellow card for that horrific looking career ending tackle. But Rooney says F**K to absolutely no one and everyone is making it out to be the crime of the century? If people can't see how the FA is trying to stop of us from winning the title again,i seriously pity them. |

the stupid FA really trying very hard to prevent us overtaking the pool. All this rubbish about being a bad influence to kids, if u listen to the amount of profanity being thrown around by the grown-ups in the ground, maybe they should start banning the fans too. I dunno how often i heard profanity from fans close to the microphone during live games on the tele. W.T.F the FA do about that???

It's the FA, what do you expect anyway? Although TBH for me it is harsh, for this 'offence' a fine is OK really.
Anyway here's the chance for Owen. This post has been edited by nazq: Apr 5 2011, 02:58 AM |

It was to be expected really from the FA. In fact we should feel lucky they only gave a 2 match ban. Could have been far worse knowing them. It was stupid from Rooney to get too charge up and swearing in front of the camera. And the FA is just waiting for that kind of moment to punish us. That's what they get paid for, to punish us. If it was others, they won't even look into the matter or at most give a fine.
Players and managers swears all the time inside the stadium/on the pitch/sideline. We can clearly see them do it. But no actions taken. I guess the difference with Rooney is that he did it in front of the camera, with the mic on. |
