Our youth cup team won at Anfield after being 2-0 down at HT. Pretty impressive huh? Morrison.. he might just be that natural AM we're gonna see in our team since forever.

No need to get butthurt over a team that is behind Bolton by just two points. CL football baybeh. They won't be on it for a while.

How much did SAF pay Almunia for that one?

He's a gasta off and on the pitch. Really got that fire inside him that will get him in trouble on the pitch now and then. He surprisingly showed a lot of restrain against Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup where things got heated up and 4 players got sent off and one had a bloody face. He even managed to stay cool when one of their youngsters did a Carragher(must be the waters on Merseyside) tackle on him. But it was stupid of him to get sent off last night which meant he would miss both games against Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup semi(I think).

Congrats! March next year for me if things goes well!

SAF said Nani and Anderson are Giggs' and Scholes' replacement. Nani is doing the business, and Ando have shown glimpse of it. Look at Arsenal. Players nearing 30, they let go. It's what have been holding them back. As for us, if Valencia and Park were to be fit/available more often, Giggsy wouldn't have played that much. No imagine if we let him go last season or a few seasons back. Where could we find someone who have the same quality as him ready to come on whenever we needed him? It's gonna cost a fortune. Just because they're old, doesn't mean they're a liability. And Scholes still can do the business for us. If anything it will give us time especially since Ando still haven't properly shine in the middle regularly. He was starting to show his colours again, but unfortunately he struggled with a knee injury shortly after. Hopefully he will get rid of that problem once and for all. Will save us a lot of money. Scholes doesn't play all that much anyways these days. Carrick and Fletcher need to step up again. We will buy a CM this time around.

We've seen off the challenge of Chelsea in the past when they were spending money like water. VDS, Park, Evra, Vida. They don't cost a lot. But all of them turned out as important and crucial players. Hernandez, Smalling.. CR in the past. We will do it our own way. If we feel we need to spend big, we will. But we won't break the bank just for the sake of it.


SAF loves Welbeck. Skillful, comfortable with the ball, good pace, and is not a bad goal scorer. The only way Bruce is gonna get him is by promising to SAF that he's gonna play Welbeck regularly if SAF decides to loan out Welbeck again for another season. Berba will get a new contract. The only way from here is down for him considering he's not young anymore so he will stay.

Welbeck is a local lad. Don't tell me if you were born a Mancunian, you won't try your best to secure a place in the side no matter who is in front of you. He still have time on his side, and he has plenty of ability. He will be a regular for us. He is far ahead of Macheda right now. And Berba ain't that young anymore. He will get his chances.

Chelsea in Europe (twice), then Arsenal then Chelsea again, plus the semi against City at Wembley.

Potentially we will do an Arsenal there..

I left them out for obvious reasons. They're won't make much impact when played, although Bebe might get a goal now and then whenever he shoots.

Find me a good club that have as good if not better backups/squad than the ones we have.

The question mark is in CM where Carrick is a shadow of old although still crucial for us as long as he doesn't hide himself too much and his partner have a good game, Fletcher being poor this season, Ando injury one after another, and Hargreaves never ending injuries and Gibson have a pre-shit Fletcher moment.

Our defence is taking a beating right now though with all those injuries.

This kid is gonna fit us like a glove. His link up play is fantastic. Drool worthy.

He did well on loan, but so did Richardson. He was too slow to become effective down the left for us I feel. That pre season tour in Asia, didn't impress much down there. He might have stand a better chance playing down the right/middle and use his creativity and movement ala Park. But it wasn't to be. If the player is good enough, SAF would give that chance to him no matter what the nationality. Look at the twins, Macheda, etc.

Another reason might be that they feel he's not gonna be special, and maybe there's a clause saying if he plays a certain amount of games, we have to pay his old club certain amount. We chose to cut our losses and continue that bargain search(Bebe, Obertan).

Think about it. Cheap, unknown, if they work out bargain. If not, nobody cares really since they don't make much of a dent in our transfer kitty. 3m for Obertan, although the fee for Bebe is quite steep at 7m, it's still not earth shattering. Could easily recoup some of that.

Neuer seems to be in love with Bayern.

We can easily afford Henderson outright. No need to exchange with anyone else. Welbeck is gonna be big. No way SAF gonna let him go.

We're certainly trying that bargain route. Tosic, Bebe, Obertan, Manucho, Diouf.. each season we'll make a few of those kind of buys.
Everton need the money. If an offer big enough comes in, they will sell him. He looks like a passenger currently in midfield. We have enough of those. We need someone who can take charge of the ball, even if that guy don't have much creativity. We'll have plenty in Ando.

The money is there for SAF to use on transfers. If SAF feels the player is worth getting up to a certain amount, he will get his man as long as the player is willing to come. Around 30m, it's very doable, but more than that(close/more than 40m), can look elsewhere. It's not because we can't afford it, but we don't want to overspend. Looking at our history, we have never been shy to break our own records on transfers, but like with Rio, Veron, Rooney, Berba have shown, that's the max we're willing to go.

Good player, but like with VDV, where do we fit him considering we play with two wingers and two strikers quite regularly. And looking at the quality that we have up front and on the wings, we're not about to change the way we play to accommodate him. We'll do what we've been doing these last few years. 433/4231/451 against the harder to play against sides, and 442 for the rest.
