My daughter asked me for a workstation, so built one for her, 16GB ram, 128GB SSD, 2TB HDD, i7 4790, gtx 960. Hopefully she doesn't complaint the ws is slow when doing rendering. Haha. It's all because her lecturer said the MBP she has won't cut it.

Just wondering, for MArch in USM, I believe it is not accredited yet by LAM. If it passes the accreditation after enrolment, will the degree recognised as LAM Part II?

We recognize based on point of graduation, not enrolement. Meaning if you enroll now into an unaccredited programme, u can still be accredited as long as u graduate once the school becomes accredited.

But it also means if u join into an accredited programme, but later become unaccredited for whatever reason and u graduate after it expires, u will not be accredited.

We had a few students who enrolled into our programme but would have graduated a year earlier before the scheduled accreditation. They happily deferred their semesters to ensure they graduate within the accredited period 😂

Thanks Mr Azari. Only two universities currently accredited MArch with equivalent for LAM Part II in Malaysia right now (2017-2019). How long does it take for the accreditation process? Is there any advantage taking the postgrad degree from UK? My daughter has got places there (one already recognised the other has visited status).

Are you certain of this rate? It's pretty low.

Currently, based of few friends of my, ex-classmates

part 1 - RM2,8k-RM3,2k (fresh grad)
part 2 - RM4,5k-RM5,5k (fresh grad-1 year exp)

but, they are UK/AUS grad, working within PJ/KL

Wow, that is quite high. My daughter was offered RM2.3k for part1, but well, it was an interim job before going for part 2, so told her to accept it. She gained lot of experience from the less than a year working and doing her part 2 now.
