QUOTE(finger_waverz @ Jun 25 2013, 11:09 PM) have you had any skills to work in a firm? if no better not, yes, is true indeed, in my school (UM), those come frm poly are performing very well.polytechnic is not always a bad route to start your dream. often i see those who go through poly have a better grasp of skills and technical knowledge rather than their matric/stpm counterparts. those years you spend in poly will serve you well. trust me |

i'm interested to study my Part 2 in Japan. is that any Part 2 degree in Japan taught in English?
How's the tuition fee and living expenses like? QUOTE(sonicstream @ May 20 2014, 05:53 AM) Ok right I would summed up on how to further studies in Japan since I don't have much time to type it in detail. Currently I just started the course in one month only so I can't really share much. Those who are interested to study in Japan you do not need to head to Japan to study at language school. In Malaysia we had a Japanese language school called Teikyo Japanese Language Institutes. Beware though after finished your language school, the degree obtained only valid to be used in Japan, so make sure you are really determined to study in Japan if you choose to enter this language school. Even if you did not graduate from this school, you can study until STPM level and other pre-university course then took the Examination of Japanese University Admission ( formally known as EJU ). EJU is also taken by students who studying in Teikyo Japanese Language Institutes as well. For those who interested to study in Japan and do not know how's to apply, you may pay a visit to Teikyo Japanese Language Institutes. They would take care of your university application. Be note that you are required to complete at least 12 years of education before you may apply. Of course like the other said, you need to have a firm knowledge in Japanese before you take the examination, but aside from Japanese subject which you are required to answer in Japanese, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are offered in English so you may answer the paper in English. Depend on your result of EJU you may eligible for scholarship rewards offered by the Japanese government. There's also Monbukagakusyo offered by the Japanese government for students who previously scored well in their SPM examination but beforehand you need to take a specialized examination beforehand. National University in Japan would be varied but for application, you need to send your EJU result to Teikyo Japanese Language Institutes which they would proceed your application. Depend on the university you will required to head to Japan and take their entrance examination. Currently when I studying the Architecture course, the language the professors used are about N2 level of JLPT, so if you obtained at least an N2 level of Japanese proficiency you are good to go. |

I intend to continue my Part 2 in Japan as I always has the interest in their culture and Japanese architecture is established very well.
Anyone here has the experience in study in Japan or your friends have similar the experience? I understand none of the architecture course in Japan is accredited in Malaysia, so I assume I need to sit for the Part 2 exam/interview if I choose to continue in Japan? |

Thanks for reply,
Anyone currently studying architecture in Germany or graduated from one of the universities in Germany? Since it is tuition fee free, would it be a good option for them who are tight in budget but intend to explore a different type of education and life? |

QUOTE(azarimy @ Aug 9 2016, 07:03 AM) The application should be open right up to january. Although the interview might be held earlier (around november/december). So get ur applications in early as soon as it reopens again. thanks for replyUsually u will know the results in a week or two. But this could take up to 6 weeks depending on senate meeting schedule. Intake is about 15-20 students. When we send in the applications, is that inclusive of the portfolio as well? Or we will present it only when called for the interview? Do we need to prepare the research topic? |
