LAM accreditation expires automatically after 5 years, in which each school would need to renew it. during the renewal process, LAM will appoint an accreditation panel (CAAEM visiting panel) to evaluate the school based on its most current students' performance. if successful, the school will gain accreditation for the next 5 years. if there are things to improve/fix, they will be given conditional accreditation of 2 or 3 years. if they failed totally, then the school will no longer accredited by LAM and loses all its privileges.

so what does it mean for u?

well, just imagine u have to renew ur driver's license every year. but instead of just paying a fee, u have to sit for the driving test to ensure ur skills are tip top. so dont worry too much about the expiry date. so far, all accredited schools are top notch that none have ever lost their accredited status!

effective means the date the accreditation period is accepted. UTM just had its accreditation renewed. not sure why it's taking too long for the information to be updated here...

I'm looking for a way to bind my architecture portfolio, probably in A3 landscape size but currently still couldnt figure out a best way to do it.

Any recommendations for binding technique? Some shop only sells A3 hardcase in potrait which will be hard to browse through coz my project pages are all prepared in landscape..

I kinda like the screw post binding method, can this services be found in KL/PJ area or any other places? Some online website sells their handmade screw post binding cover as well, do anyone know if any shop in malaysia is selling those also?
