Hi guys just a few questions. I've recently graduated from Taylor's bac. of architecture.

I've applied few australian universities for my master and one of the uni(RMIT) replied me stating that i am required to submit 1 more document which is a letter from taylor's to prove that the course is accredited.

The problem here is, the result of whether Taylor's is getting accreditation or not will only be out around december and i need to reply the australian uni(RMIT) A.S.A.P. I need some advice from experienced architects here, what can i do.

Another thing is i just called one of my lecturer and was told that i could bring my portfolio and show it to LAM then get some kind of "letter" to state that the degree i did in taylor's is equivalent to part 1. How does this work? Do i just bring my portfolio there and show them? that's it?

I'm really confused =="

1st, LAM can be quite strict, depending on her mood swings. the top people in LAM, particularly dato' amer hamzah, is not very keen on entertaining unaccredited schools, until they become accredited. so it'll be hard for u to push them to release the accreditation results earlier.

2nd, knowing LAM, i have to say that they will not issue any letter saying that taylor's degree is equivalent to part 1. not until they're properly accredited. what u can do is to go to LAM and apply to sit for the part 1 exam. although u might not pass, the fact that u qualify to sit for the exam is proof enough that LAM considers ur degree as "enough to take part 1 exam".

Thanks for the advice, will certainly try that!

Anyway, just one more question and probably many people have been asking it for thousand of times. I actually got an offer from QUT, Deakin and Newcastle. In your experience if you were to rank these universities, how would you rank them?
