i am sorry to hear your case.

If the item is not the same feature, brand or spec as what it should be as discussed, you can have a refund. But this is the last solution we will go.

For better option, we should try to settle it with the exchanging to the correct model with limited topup or free if the item are having very similar price. Doing this will not harm you or the seller and you guys can get mutual understanding. I believe TS is trying to solve the problem and create less trouble for both party.

As for the pricing survey, this is for sure the worst answer getting. I believe the higher price they sell you the monitor is because they just wanna use the less product to exchange with the money you just spend, so they just mark up the max price they can in order to not refund you any single cents....which are quite common case in most cash and carry shop.

My last advice is, buy smart. If the difference in price are not more than 15%, then get if from the shop you trusted. After so many years of online trading, i only believe in "service charge but not product price". You pay less and they earn nothing, sure they will treat you bad when you need their service because the service are not paid...

Although some may say that selling cheap is the best way to attract customer and after sales service are actually included in the product price no matter how cheap it is, but for me i rather pay a little bit more for a peace of mind, better workmanship and reliable sales person. Survey is a must, then you know who is more reliable and who is the liar.
