guys, im using maxis postpaid which is under my dad's name (contract), so, i bought a new phone which uses nano sim...so i need to change my current sim (normal sim) to nano sim, do i still need to bring along my dad to fill some form for the process?
as i got quoted by other forumer, which he/she said;
"As I know u bring the old SIM card, ask them to replace new one without activate it. Then your dad has to call 123 and activate it"

QUOTE(KL_menJERIT @ Jan 7 2015, 01:26 PM) maxis and celcom who have more users? Refer the page below. Last year was also a year when Maxis saw a decline in its subscriber base. It had over 14 million subscribers in early 2013, but ended the year only with 12.89 million, losing 1.2 million subscribers. During the year, Celcom gained 460,000 new subscribers while DiGi signed up 500,000 new subscribers. - See more at: http://www.themalaymailonline.com/tech-gad...h.Q5bzFFRL.dpuf http://www.themalaymailonline.com/tech-gad...on-up-for-grabs

MAXIS TO REMOVE SURFMORE 75 PLAN ON 29 JANUARY 2015 If you’ve been wanting to sign up with Maxis’ SurfMore 75 data-centric postpaid plan, you better do it fast because effective 29 January 2015, the plan will no longer be available for new subscribers. On top of that, they will also remove voice add-on plan for SurfMore subscribes, as well as revise the price for SurfMore data upgrades. According to the FAQ page, “Effective 29 January 2015, SurfMore 75 plan is no longer available for new subscribers”. This means that starting on that date, you will no longer be able to subscribe to SurfMore 75 or port over to that plan. If you are currently subscribed to the plan, you will not be affected however, if you switch to another plan, you will not be able to switch back. In addition to that, Maxis will also be removing the voice add-on plan for all SurfMore subscribers. Introduced about a year ago, SurfMore voice add-on bundle offered 120 minutes of calls for only RM12/month – that’s equivalent to 10sen/min as opposed to the regular call charges at 12sen/min onnet and 20sen/min offnet. SMS add-on (120SMS for RM6/month) is still available.Finally, Maxis also revised the price of data add-on for its SurfMore users. “In March statement and onwards”, SurfMore data upgrades will be adjusted to RM25 for 500MB and RM35 for 1GB. On top of that, the telco is offering additional 1GB and 2GB respectively for free for 3 months for those who subscribe to a data-add on before 29 January 2015. To sum it up, this means that as of 29 January 2015, Maxis will only offer two SurfMore postpaid plans – SurfMore 50 principal line and SurfMore 30 supplementary line. http://www.lowyat.net/2015/01/maxis-to-rem...9-january-2015/
