Szczesny was just kidding.
And the Clichy leaving news jas been going on since last summer. He's been solid, in my opinion (although I'm sure many have reasons to disagree) but even though he has one of the league's highest interception numbers, he can be quite shaky defensively. The rumours usually link us with Emilio Izaguirre, who has been doing well here in Scotland, but the Scottish league being like the La Liga, we can hardly tell how good a player is until he leaves the comfort of the Glasgow Old Firm teams.
Speaking of Scotland, it's Brazil v. Scotland at the Grove this Sunday! A replay of 1998. Let's see if Scotland can muscle their way through Brazil

Nobody is saying they are happy when stupid goals are conceded.
But if you want to solve the problem you have to understand it. And the wailing and moaning about Arsenal's defence being particularly weak has to be put into perspective.
In short, calm down, stop being hysterical and look at the situation.
The media will keep on banging on about Man Utd having 7 defenders. That's pointless drivel.
It matters extremely little what the "natural" position of the players are. Fabio and Rafael were placed in the wings. The fact that they are usually full-backs are only important
on paper. Watch the game (i.e. reality) and you realise that they were playing as wingers. Who gives two shits if they are usually played as fullbacks? What matters is that in reality, in that game, they were played as wingers and they performed primarily as wingers. Never mind also that both players are not renowned as defensive fullbacks.
O'Shea? He's a utility player, a la Eboue (but not similar positions). The journalists will like to classify him asa defender just so they can parrot the "7 defenders" line, because this makes for a good theme in an article. Believe me, themes are important in journalistic pieces.
Secondly of course, United likes playing the same way against us all the time, sit back, soak up the pressure, leave possession to us and hit us on the counter. Having the two banks of four was always going to be their way of playing against us, regardless of how many "defenders" are fielded.
The league cup final loss sucked, definitely. But it bears reminding that we beat them 2-1 earlier in the seasons
without Walcott or Fabregas. If you choose to judge Arsenal's strength based on one game however, that is your choice.
Mentioning the Brazil vs Scotland match, are you going to watch it?If I didn't remember wrongly, the 'ori/fat' Ronaldo will be there
