maybe im just ignorant but it seems like industrial is pretty much dead. used to get godflesh and fear factory for my fix but nowadays, all industrial bands just sound like hard rock. : (

Yeah ... that's what I thought too ... so sad.
Back then we had so many great bands like Ministry, Godflesh, White Zombie, Chemlab, Cubanate, Naked Apes, Gravity Kills, Filter etc ... Even Marilyn Manson, Fear Factory, NIN was more industrial back then. |

QUOTE(Abangpedro @ Apr 7 2006, 07:32 PM) Only listen to COF until 'Cruelty & the Beast " album after that found nothing interesting bout COF. Nightwish is totally different type of music compared to COF...and Dimmu pwns COF.... there's nothing wrong about being mainstreambtw COF produces an album per year which is really like producing 'kicap' |

Probot- well, not really metal but heavy still .
Soulfly- heavy new album but their sound/style is beginning to sound the same .... was expecting something new from max!! I just got amorphis new album (eclipse) and its suprisingly good ( back to their roots, unlike tuonela or am universum). i missed out far from the sun though- anyone care to review ? |
