QUOTE(Wolfgard @ Mar 2 2006, 02:16 AM) I don't think the author (or should I say authorities) knew what the kids were doing. For them, anything that involves a grouping of peeps is a cult. Hello bro- myself order all my cds through demonzend cos they can get pretty much what u need. Just ping them for the blind guardian single- O NOES...political rally...ZOMG...POLITICAL CULT. Call the police! CIA..KGB... Yarr. People are just tards nowadays. Anyway, anyone here has experience with www.demonzend.com? How long does it take for an order to arrive in Klang Valley? I'm thinking of getting a couple of albums from there. Too bad they don't have Blind Guardian's Fly single...sigh. oh yeah, their shipping time is usually 4-6 weeks, depending on stock and customs la...unless u order something they have in stock, then you can get it in 2-3 days. cheerio. Hey- maybe we should all do a bulk buy ?? what do you guys think ? im also ordering some stuff for jail666 - |

PowerMetal ? dunno why but ive been listening to gamma ray and helloween heavily !! Helloween turned into some pop power metal group and gamma ray albums quality seems to be very consistent- their latest majestic album is really heavy and fast - and i just realised that almost every gamma ray album, there will be one song where they "inject" a chorus/line from other songs/bands!!!

maybe im just ignorant but it seems like industrial is pretty much dead. used to get godflesh and fear factory for my fix but nowadays, all industrial bands just sound like hard rock. : (

Probot- well, not really metal but heavy still .
Soulfly- heavy new album but their sound/style is beginning to sound the same .... was expecting something new from max!! I just got amorphis new album (eclipse) and its suprisingly good ( back to their roots, unlike tuonela or am universum). i missed out far from the sun though- anyone care to review ? |

Man- till this day and age still got so many sepultura fans hung up about the band but not their new music - i think 90% of us still stuck in roots era - if you ask me, sepultura went downhill since max left the band
anyways - nile is a good band - im looking for any other band that comes close to emperor's style and sound - feel free to recommend - |

Sigh... its mike 3300 spamming everywhere again
Dude- everyone have their own individual preference and opinion. if i like or support a particular band, its my choice. stop asking why they listen to certain groups or support them and also pls stop telling people to listen to LP- . this is a metal thread. we talk about emperor, suffocation, satryicon and dismemered type of groups here. its obvious u dun like growling vocals, so pls go to the rock thread and stick to LP or whatever is fancy now. its been a long time since i post, so kinda shocked to find out that slayer and malmsteem is coming to spore! damn! any local gigs from bands soon? QUOTE(kernel @ Oct 5 2006, 04:14 PM) Can someone recommend a thrash metal album similiar to Metallica's Ride The Lightning? Dude- very hard to find something similar- here are MY recommendations thoI've tried listening to some Slayer and they're not really my cup of tea. No shouted vocals please. Thanks in advance. OLD SCHOOL Megadeth - all albums New School Kreator - violent revolution & enemy of god Maybe you want to try power/speed metal since u dun like growing/shouted vocals? Helloween + Gamma Ray |

any slayer or inflames album is fine- they have such an extensive album and the music style changes over time.
is cradle of filth latest album out in the local market already ? |
