Hmm...Trivium. I've listened to some of the songs from their previous albums before. They're okay cool, also one of their songs (I forgot which one) has been featured in the Metal Station of this game called The Sims 2 the PS2 version but of course I don't understand the words because they sing it in Simslish (language used in The Sims 2). They're cool band nonetheless... biggrin.gif

tat was the song 'Like Light To Flies' in simlish..i had the mp3 b4..deleted it after a few listens..smile.gif

Yeah...got Slayered in Singapore, f***ing awesome show that was, can't believe we were actually seeing Kerry King & Co. Live thumbup.gif , the sound sounded great, even at the start when the drum tech was testing the drums, wow the bass drum kick got my heart beating man!!!!, but I'll say that the lighting in Kreater was better, we couldn't see much of Dave Lambardo here (maybe beacuse of the position of the lighting), but hell was the performance powerful, dead on METAL!!!

I got one of the best workout in ages I think, I got into a moshpit during Raining Blood, and damnit my head hurt terrible after that and I nearly wanted to throwup on the floor then and there!...aaahhhh but it was all worth it!!!!SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QUOTE(whackerinc @ Oct 15 2006, 02:29 PM)
Slayer!!!

To those who saw Kreator last year, remember how awesome they were? Now just imagine them with a much better sound system, bigger arena and more crazy fans and you'll get Slayer! The only downside was the brevity, it was only 1 hour and a half. Damn.

It was by far the best concert experince and the best RM300 I ever spent. Slayer!

yesterday went down to Pertama to look at some albums, got myself Within Temptation's The Silent Force (enchanced CD) and Killswitch Engage's Alive or Just Breathing (2 CD edition), i've hear all the songs from this albums before and couldn't resist getting them in the imported ori format thumbup.gif

also got myself Metallica's The Videos dvd, nuthin new juz all their video clips and extra stuff is an alternate version of the 'One' video and a longer version of the 'The Unforgiven' video but it's nice to finally have all their videos on 1 disc ( i remember buying all the pirated vcd's last time during school days which wud have those rock video clips smile.gif )

Also purchased Arch Enemy and COB's DVD, mostly is concert footage and interviews but 2bad it's burned copy (these shops make a fortune by making copies of the original DVD and selling it at abt RM 30-40)...alternatively I guess we could download this stuff..aaahh but waiting for 4.2GB on a less than 10 peers torrent is frustrating smile.gif )

edit:hmmm...this is something interesting, anybody heard that this year's Ozzfest is FREE? link : Blabbermouth.net
..tat's weird, what is Sharon Osbourne up to now ?

Amen brother. Trivium all the way.
And if you guys are curious to know how Iron Maiden would sound like on steroids and tongkat ali, pick up DragonForce. I recommend watching the videoclip of Through The Fire And Flames.
*
wow..someone replied to an old post...haha..yeah Dragonforce is quite cool..they're supposedly changing the way fans used to view power-metal bands, good 4 them

Anyone knows where to buy Lamb of God's Killadelphia DVD in Malaysia? I watched some parts of the dvd on youtube. Wicked live concert by LOG, i'm impressed by Randy's voice. He sounded even better than in CD.
*
There's a shop in Pertama Complex (Acoustic Music Station) where they will import it for you if you request for it. Price might be around Rm80-120. They also sell the 'pirated' version smile.gif for about Rm35.I saw that the shop had LOG's Sacrament (imported limited edition version with a DVD).

Alternatively you can try the famous 'Auntie Shop' in campbell complex smile.gif

edit : and yeah..Killadelphia is quite good..i downloaded it last time, liked the pranks the bassist pulled on the guitarist, and yeah the concert recording was good thumbup.gif

just got myself a few CD's yesterday at Pertama, anyone noticed that EMI Malaysia is reissuing all the Iron Maiden albums again? Priced at Rm35 it's quite a good deal since it's an enhanced CD with videos and band hisotry for that particular album on it, I got myself Piece of Mind yesterday (have been hooked to the riffs from Trooper the past few weeks smile.gif ), maybe I'll collect those albums which I don't already have since this seems to be a good deal thumbup.gif

I also bought Lamb of God's Sacrament (w/ DVD), and I really think the DVD was a neat addition, it wasn't some 15-minute bonus crappily shot video, but an actually cool 90 minute documentary on the band's experience and life from after releasing the Killadelphia DVD to the making/recording/releasing of Sacrament, and of course the album is f***ing killer (i already had a burned copy previously, tot i'll go and get the original smile.gif )

WTF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  sad.gif

Emanuel Fialik of Pilgrim Management GmbH, which represents German industrial metal pioneers RAMMSTEIN, has issued the following press release:

"On the 13th of July 2007 the industrial gothic top act RAMMSTEIN announces that after the release of the next studio album, which is about to get finished, the current singer and frontman Till Lindemann will leave the band.
"Till's decision is mainly based on the increasing inharmoniousness within the band and was well deliberated. He will head now for other challenges which can be a solo career or maybe a new project (as of his own words).
"The band decided not to quit but announce a new singer. There is a clear statement coming from Richard Kruspe and Christoph Schneider that 'nobody ever can replace Till Lindemann' but since 'we have still so much fun doing RAMMSTEIN we looked for a new singer which is charismatic in his own way without copying Till.'
"The new singer which was found and signed to be the new RAMMSTEIN frontman is the co-founder and ex-member of the electro industrial act KMFDM and current singer of SLICK IDIOT - En Esch - who recently moved to Berlin to join the band.
"We all will miss Till Lindemann who gave us many years of joy by listening to his unique grinding voice. Please welcome the talented En Esch - Till's footsteps are big, but maybe he can dry our tears rapidly."
RAMMSTEIN will issue its "Völkerball" DVD in the U.S. in September. The exact release date will be announced soon.
RAMMSTEIN's latest album, "Rosenrot", received its long-overdue U.S. release in March 2006 via Universal Music. The CD, which was certified platinum in Germany for sales in excess of 200,000 copies within two weeks of release in October 2005, topped the official album chart in Germany, Austria and Finland, and landed at No. 2 in Sweden and Denmark, No. 4 in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, No. 5 in France, No. 6 in Mexico, No. 11 in Italy and No. 29 in the U.K. In addition, "Rosenrot" achieved gold status in Austria, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

RAMMSTEIN's track "Mein Teil" was nominated in the "Best Metal Performance" category at the 2006 Grammy Awards.

Tickets sold out ? are you serious!?
Kamelot? well...im not really into these opera metal with female singers..... so far i only listened to epica and nightwish....so still sticking with more brutal stuff

oh yeah....i finally finished listnening to megadeth's latest album for about the whole week. i have to say, im very very dissapointed. this is not the come back album i had expected. with all the buzz and exposure, i was expecting a "violent revolution" type of album, what it did for kreator.
seriously though, after listening to united abominations, youthansia and countdown to extinction sounds better!

say - anyone have the latest paradise lost album ?
*
yeah, bought the In requiem digipak edition album from PL, i really loved the previous album and decided to get this too. This one kinda sounds like Draconian Times and Icon style era albums i think, still love it and the gothic mood is still there IMHO smile.gif
