QUOTE(SiuYi @ Mar 13 2011, 10:31 PM) Anyway, you need to apply alot of efforts, need to press with the screw driver. Boot alone took me 2 whole days (8am-7pm), 4 doors total 6 days, with sweat and blood. Door is toughest one, because last time sticked with insufflex, have to remove and clean the gum and double side tape. A lot of cleaning job for the door inner layer, alot of wax inside, only cleaning took me almost 1.5 hour per door.

QUOTE(DaBestOne @ Mar 14 2011, 02:34 PM) Waa bro you very pro la... doing all these work do not require any professional skills? Not worry if there's any problems later What problem do you expect? You have to learn by ur own, use right material, and this is most important. All the skills i learnt from reading ppls thread, especially posted at Cari forum. A expect called '皇朝' there, now adi come to LYN forum, here he called 'mr.wong', you can go ICE section to read his post recently, you will learn alot.

QUOTE(lhwj @ Mar 19 2011, 08:08 PM) QUOTE The participants were given 4 hours to complete the route of about 196 kms. Proton Edar also worked closely with the National Union of Journalists Malaysia who were present to closely monitor the challenge. While modifications to the car were not allowed, the participants were given the freedom to be creative in reducing their fuel consumption. Other than driving at 60 to 70 km/h, the teams were also seen push-starting their cars and letting their cars rolled downhill in free gear (neutral). They also drove without the air-conditioners on and letting only little air in, to reduce friction while driving. Off course la, my car can even reach 'infinity kms/L' if pulled by cow. Practical ma, this is just impractical competition, just for fun. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Mar 19 2011, 08:30 PM

Added on March 21, 2011, 9:43 ambtw i forgot to share some story here... last week i juz realize got gen2, persona and satria user butthurt wif our saga blm... bcoz our s4pe rev better than them due to our shorter stroke length... last time i also can pecut better than persona, only kalah to top speed.. Dun forget the short gear ratio helps alot also. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Mar 21 2011, 12:16 PM

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Mar 22 2011, 10:47 PM) For example 5th gear, 80km/h. Floor to overtake someone, RPM goes till redline, car's speed barely climbs. 5th gear redline speed no increase? Then sure is clutch slip adi.

QUOTE(xshiro @ Mar 23 2011, 12:38 PM) first, you need to consider the position of the fuel pump, its not absolutely at the bottom of the tank, if the fuel pump cant suck the left over fuel at the bottom then you cant fill 40liter, the actual tank capacity Furthermore the level will fluctuate due to cornering, pickup, incline and decline.

QUOTE(omara86 @ Mar 25 2011, 03:41 PM) i think it's typo only... syntium 800 only 15w50 and 10w40... i checked in d website... i check at my previous service receipt, it's 15w50... i remember last time the mechanic said fully synth not recommended for blm engine... The oil grade more important than oil type la...nothing wrong with fully sync, it provide more protection and more durable than others. Just that ppl who use fully sync extend its service too long, this one not good only. From what i read, 5w30 is not recommended for long run or ur turbo charge car, too thin and will not last.

QUOTE(jerrymouse @ Mar 27 2011, 04:15 PM) mine was around 17 to 18 cent per little..sometime stuck in terrible jam then up to 19 cents. but if usual driving 80% city 20% highway then around 11km per little.. gear ratio i think there is abit diff compare with previous blm, i drove b4 previous blm which rpm around 3.6-3.8k around 120km/h but the fl is around 3.4k at 120km/h. Bros out there, correct me if my info is wrong. Please read through your manual booklet, last part, 'specification'. there is gear ratio. For BLM, 1st 2.842, 2nd 1.529, 3rd 1.0, 4th 0.712, final 4.406. My bet is nothing change on that.
