i just have this phone for almost 1 week. it's awesome, and it support almost every hd games with lagless gameplay.

the s-lcd i can tell u is i have to set the brightness to the lowest and it still equal to other phone's half brightness. and it's consume very little of battery though.

my cousin just got this phone and its nice... its slightly bigger than SGS and its a bit nicer to hold, the back cover also feels a lot more rigid than the one that came with SGS

the RAM stated is 478 but at least its better than SGS that has only 339 or even at max i seen is 350... at normal usage the RAM goes only up to 300+ at least u will still have around 100mb

GPU is not as good but its ok for normal gaming, it doesnt have support for some codec but its like HTC as well, HTC phones doesnt support HD movies and only supports certain video formats

Overall the phone is quite good and for that price its very worth it...

Do a comparison with Defy, Desire HD, and so on, u will find that Galaxy SL is really worth the bucks

why didn't u wait for Sony Ericsson Arc or Neo (VIVAZ 2), they have more things than SGS SL and running OS 2.3, i think Arc will price ard RM1800-RM2000+, whereas Neo will go ard RM1500-RM1800.

sorry for my poor english dahool00, i was talking that the SGS SL S-LCD brightness was great even i set it in the lowest brightness. and it's running android 2.2, the screen is still readable under the sun but also must depends on what screen protector u use. regarding to the the silicon casing and backcover proctector u can find it in ebay as it is a new phone it might not available at Malaysia yet. Now I thinking to buy this phone, is the camera all right even without a flash? Also not require lag fix like SGS right?

the camera without flash is working good as there's some light source. lag fix is non required and it's running some on most of the HD game.

May i know how much is the internal storage? is 16GB or 4GB...
alot of ppl seem saying that SL only has 4GB, however, stated in the link is 16GB... so i wonder which 1 is true

the internal is 4gb, 2gb for internal sd and 2 gd internal memory. u can refer to the 1st page i have edit the specification according to my Galaxy SL.

captivate does look nicer and the specs are also better but they dont have local warranty by SME do they? i consider that an AP set and a AP price

anything wrong with the SL u still get warranty from SME malaysia ma...

besides, i'm using a SGS and i'm envy of the amount of ram in the SL... SGS's lag is sometimes very irritating.... so far my cousin's SL is really smooth

ermm... i think this one is kinda a nice phone ... i manage to get from sheng heng for rm1600 whioch mean u can get 3 year waranty with rm1600 all around in malaysia.....
