Your arguement is weak ..
You want to ask for additional RM200-300 due to congestion and distance concerned. How is this the company's problem?
You want better salary, put on the table what you can offer and why you deserve the additional RM200-300. Personal problems are not of a concern of potential hiring employers.
I experienced most of the company operations, from stock purchase to stock sales, from account/credit control to warehouse/logistics... no issues for me as i guiding my new office administrator & sales person too to handle the company operations & documentation even though i'm just a engineer...

hence i dont have any manager on top of me and i report direct to my boss for any matters, learn quite number of management skills from my boss... so my personal capabilities wasn't issues as i'm a multi tasker as i informed to interviewer and i'm keen to adopt to different environment (example an engineer to handle company management operations

)... hence my boss no doubt on my capabilities (my boss "verbal-promise" to offer me another RM500 after knowing that I look for better career opportunities) and that why my principal asking me to join their company since i deal with them quite some times even though screwed them before...
as the statement above, i agreed our personal problems wasn't a concern of employers but asking for additional RM200-300 for my own transportation cost... example i got offers RM4500 at Klang & RM5000 at KL (same job scope) but i staying at Klang, most probably i will end up with Klang instead as the traffic between KL & Klang is nightmare... FYI, i work at hartamas last 5 years ago, even 8-10pm also will jam at Sprint highway with RM2k salary that time, RM7-10 per meal (lunch), expensive parking fees...

lesson learnt, end the job after 2 weeks and get nearer job, same salary but allowing me to save some petrol & meal expenses in order to get a new car instead...
interviewer said that their company have variety of benefit / subsidy, but still i prefer to waiting for his offer letter to check out the staff benefit before any salary negotiation...
