I am surprised actually that you said most internship in UK is unpaid.
As far as I am aware, internships/ work placement (being called this in UK usually) are paying £12k - £18k per annum. I was paid £15.5k when I was doing mine last year. It's hard to believe that unpaid internships exist in UK |
