hi everyone,

for night time activities in one of my free n' easy itinerary, im choosing in between Seoul Tower or Hangang River.. which one do u guys recommended to go?

Added on April 17, 2011, 3:03 pmanother question..

is it worthwhile to buy Seoul City Pass than using T-Money?

Seoul City Pass costed 15,000 Won (approx RM45) for 1 day unlimited pass, but im not sure whether the transportation for 1 day tour around Seoul will cost that much or not though..

http://www.seoulcitypass.com/jsp/citypass/...s_eng.jsp#price
*
why not both? go Seoul tower in the evening and then head to the river.

Can't go both coz i only have 1 day of free n' easy.. the rest of the days are planned for ground arrangement already  cry.gif

But wondering can go both place at the same day? As u said, Seoul Tower in evening around 5 to 6 something.. then head to the Hangang River at 7pm?
*
Yes. Why not. smile.gif Seoul tower go till 8pm also can ma. The river won't close shop but Seoul tower I think until 9.30pm only.

hi stimix,

huh, i thought it is a normal thing to do in Korea =.= Try the traditional clothing.
As far as i have surveyed. They have it in M Plaze in Myeong Dong and Namsan Hanok Village.
*
if you are following the tour the will bring you to this place where you learn to make kimchi and you can get the chance to try out the traditional clothing as well.

No roaming lar for GSM phones. Koreans all using CDMA.

Our lines technically cannot be used there that's why people are renting phones.

Even if you wanna use blackberry, you have to go to your operator (Maxis/Digi) and ask them to activate roaming for you. Same case for Japan i think.

Can-lah. The reason why ppl rent pnone bcos can call back cheaper & also using it as walkie talkie in Korea incase one member lost. Cheaper that way. We can't use their SIM card there.
*
Last time no sim card one, only when iphone was launched then only they provide GSM lines.

power of apple. biggrin.gif
