I went for FT Island concert last nite with my sisters and it was awesome. We dance and scream all for 02 hours and didn't realised how time flies. Hong Ki really really marvelous. He and his bandmates were bunch of energetic chap. This morning I woke up and all my body are aching. Kena sore throat some more. Hahahaha!! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee Korea. Can't hardly wait for our trip.

Unker Stimix, where can I get in Seoul market/shop selling Korean brooch, bangles, bracelet,bling2 accessories for girls?? They have it in Dongdamemun and Namdaemun market?

QUOTE(stimix @ Jan 16 2012, 09:09 AM)
T-Money can be use on All Metro lines, AREX & buses in S.Korea EXCEPT their conventional & bullet train operated by KORAIL.

So if you going to Jisan by subway & bus -yes accepted. To Nami Island if you take the train - No but wth the new subway line to that area - Yes.

No idea on Everland - I din go there. Here more info of T-Money. You can find more info on pg1 of this thread

QUOTE(kelsem @ Jan 23 2012, 01:40 AM)
My friend and I took the tour bus in Jeju. It is all conducted in Korean language. We still manage although it must be pretty frustrating for the guide with her limited English, REALLY limited.  rclxub.gif
Better to book ticket online otherwise you will be like us in Jeju airport, finding the tour bus completely full. The people managing the tours aren't keen on taking on foreigners because it is really cheap, about RM 80 not inclusive of guide's tip. Lunch included (non halal of course)
In the end some kind Samaritan manage to squeeze both of us into 1 tour bus but someone had to drive us to meet up with the bus that already left Jeju city. The next day tour to the Western part of Jeju island went smoothly without a hitch. Some places that we visited include an option to pay the entrance fee or not. Most of time though the entrance fees were included in the price of tour ticket. Don't miss the ferry ride in Seopwipo though you will have to pay for the ride.
If there are more in your group, I heard that they might provide English guide. Have to take their word for it. Don't know if true or not.

Keng.

Sorry for the late reply. I bought tickets from Gimpo to Jeju via Eastar Airlines. Book online for RM 200 return. Could have got RM 150 if bought earlier. That was in June 2011. Took the afternoon flight. It was really easy booking online.

Most forumers here have not been to Jeju during winter, I think. But for me, I'll take the risk to visit Jeju during winter because Nami is actually quite near and reachable by train from Seoul and you can do the tour in a day whereas Jeju u need to fly from Seoul. I am sure the Sunrise Peak still in Jeju during winter.

QUOTE(profdra @ Jan 25 2012, 11:00 AM)
but is it recommended to go during winter?can we still see the things during winter?

Me and my sisters are going to Seoul in April too. 20/4/12-28/4/12. We plane to hire a car to drive around Jeju. If your travelling date and our is the same, maybe we can share renting a bigger car. We will be in Jeju on 22/-24/4.

QUOTE(BuLLs10 @ Jan 28 2012, 06:07 PM)
hie guys, i am going to seoul on april. would like to ask if anybody here have contact or person in charge that allow me to customize my tour in Jeju? Means i just hire a driver than I tell him which place I would like to go for the entire day.

I booked my hotel from the website and plan to going around in Seoul via bus and trains. For Jeju, we plan to rent a car. This is the best way rather than joining tour group. biggrin.gif

RM280 is about KRW100 thousand. RM1000 is about KRW300 thousand something. I doubt is enough.

Settle already. I booked return tkt for 4pax going on 22/4/12 at 0705hrs and return on 24/04/12 at 1305hrs. Their domestic airline website not really user friendly.

QUOTE(ashcrimson @ Jan 31 2012, 02:28 PM)
