Wondering should I get MB-D10 now. Yesterday I mounted D300 on my dad's friend's 200-400 and I was like "WT*"!

His friend will be bringing the 200-400 to balloon fest. If got chance I can borrow it at there.

I prefer to travel light as well
But for telephoto lens use, it will be very nice to balance up the weight distribution for the camera and lens

Seldom will be using telephoto lens with my D300 though, most of the time when I have 70-200 with me, D3s will be there as well
I also want LOL, but I hardly will be using it to be honest

For? Ask him buy and give 200-400 to me? LOL

Not a lot but yesterday he showed me and my dad some recent shots he got at Africa safari tour. Now my dad is all crazy about telephoto also. He even mentioned he wants to follow to Africa if his friend is going again

what edwardgsk said is true. 116 quite ugly taking portrait, group photo or anything human related unless u really want to play real wide.

i never tried 1685 b4 but i used to shoot wedding using 18105 for a years before i swift to 1750. now i normally using single 1750 to shot whole coverage. im not creative as some of here so i dont use wide much.

btw, wedding normally they dont want too sharp picture coz later all jerawat everything will be see. depend on ur luck lor regarding client. i was rejected several time coz of nikon. even got 1 client provide me other camera to shoot their wedding. then u know why i know much about canon and sony right?
