Lightroom easier and faster to tweak exposure and colour balance, but I still prefer photoshop for more artistic PP

*I only use Lightroom for Jpeg, if Raw I straight use back ViewNX2.

For me, I dont use photoshop..only lightroom with viewnx2 and capture nx2

I see, never tried Capture NX2 or View NX2 before, LOLOLOL!

What is it useful for? Can tweak image tones? I tried friend's DPP before, kinda nice

80-200 of course can't be compared to 70-200, sharpness, colour, focusing performance are all far behind the 70-200

My 70200 VR2 also full of dust lor inside after usage ._. complain at service center let's see if I can get free cleaning .

Can i know what is vr mean? It is confusing for me to get which lens for my D3100

Means vibration reduction, prevent blur picture from ur shaky hand

D3100 doesn't build-in motor and VR, all depend on lens

The VR II is superior when compared to the 80-200, however having used them both, here are my findings.
-The 80-200 produces at warmer colour tone while the VR II is slightly pale.
-The VR II focusses much faster due to the AF-S motor.
-In terms of sharpness, my untrained eyes sees no difference...
-Built, i love my 80-200 solid built better.
-But the killer point is the VR II, 4 stops is a lot when it comes to low light photography.
So end of the day if one has the cash to spend, i'd say go for the VR II as well. I'm saving up for one myself...

I have used the 80-200 for 3 weeks before upgrading to VR2, the sharpness, colour is just way better.. 80-200 has this washed out colour compared to any of the modern N coat lens
