anyway i already sent it for service...

no problem on the file sharing blocked, still can bypass that .... plus, 4shared still can use as normal... most apk file got from 4shared thou...

Unless it is from Rom stated with "DX" , those are our region punya Rom

seems like so far so good this 1.2. gonna stick with it for a while since i dont receive chinese text tat much and eventhough i receive 'em, i'll ask my gf to translate for me coz i study malay high skool so tak reti read chinese LOL

but if u need chinese, flash ur unit with the country code stated with "DX" then it'll have all the languages u enquired

oo... then too bad. coz i need type chinese word.. then i have to find the dx version only can flash

Why don't you just go to the service center and get them to upgrade for you? It's free and only takes 1 hour.

Samsung bada twitter mentioned bada 1.2 is up now in malaysia wor but there's still no update thru Kies.

oh well, i guess we gotta accept the fact that it will never be updated through Kies in Malaysia. Don't know what is Samsung Malaysia doing. Hv to go to SC to update it.

just got my phone back from pj service centre. they upgraded to Bada 1.2 DXJL3 for me. somehow after they upgraded it, when I press the centre button it does not wake the screen. while the other buttons are working... wonder if there's any solution to this...

it's just the settings.

Go to:

Settings>General>Touch

Change "Backlight on" to "Any key".

already set to any key. the problem is, all other keys work. except the centre button...

actually me also the same.. but i'm still using bada 1.0. mayb all is the same?

heard from someone that this is the part of the update,
because the centre button protrudes and the others don't,
therefore could be pressed accidentally and wake up the phone

The maps should come with the setup file... once u installed it should be able to use. Previously, u have to install separately... but now can straight use it once installed that's why u dont see the link on the page u posted above.

seem like almost stable version porting android to bada is existed.
only 3 things unavailable in that version:
1. modem
2. gps
3. sensors
