i guess.. bada 1.2 firmware also having this problem... if not mistaken.

so, what's the reason holding you guys from migrating to android?

^ Personally, money-factor. Plus, I just couldn't justify the need to migrate to android when the phone simply works. I don't really care about the number of apps as I don't actually need many of them, but a few good games would've been great. Heck, Wave's hardware is also better than most phone out there in it's price range

^ that's basically what i've been telling myself. gorgeous super-amoled, 1ghz cpu.

but RAM problem and OS limitation keep knocking on my conscious.

^Agreed. I'm putting faith in my Wave just a little bit longer. Haha. Hope Bada 2.0 will bring even better improvements.

BTW the current project of porting Android to Wave by the guys at XDA looks very promising. At this rate, we might get a working Android on Wave soon(I hope!), maybe even before 2.0 reach us By then, we'll have ourselves a better option in case Samsung tries to screw us again

install thru phone Samsung Apps, should be ok...

what do you mean by that? i AM buying it thru phone Apps market

u install using Kies or phone....coz be4 i face such problem when download Let's Golf 2...but i using my phone to download (not using Kies) then ok already

Like me last time download Brother in Arms 2... both KIES and thru phone also cannot... have to uninstall the preinstalled asphalt 5 which was installed on phone memory.... so try the using phone to download the apps if cant ... then... like i said earlier.. deleted every files on phone memory, clear internet cache, and other apps that installed on phone memory

Samsung Kies many bugs....now cant detect my firmware information...but try at other computer can detect....
BTW, anyone have new Malaysia map for Ndrive?

yeap.. .WAVE II's screen size is difference and also it is using SUPER CLEAR LCD... besides that, it is more heavy than S8500 (WAVE I).

If your finger is not that big, then you can opt Wave I. If not better buy WAVE II.

as far as i know s.amoled is much better than s.lcd rite? would it hard to view documents with 3.3" screen? like words and pdf..? any idea what the price will be for wave1?

not much difference ... wave 2 better ..can confirm that you have bada 2.0

yea super amoled screen is nice... but it wont make any big difference if you compare side by side... only big difference is that you can view the Super Amoled screen in difference angle yet it still very clear to see.
but you are not looking your screen from side right?

for me... 3.3" is ok to view words, pdf file... coz you can pinch to zoom.. .so no problem.. only problem is when u type sms or words when using qwerty keyboard is a little bit challenging if your fingers are big....

price.. .should be around RM1,200...

once bada android porting done before bada 2.0 officially, i'm sure samsung bada will be broke. samsung so slow... bada 1.2 official upgrade for malaysia in late april, got 3 days left... wutta hell?

i won't say s-amoled is the same as s-lcd.

the difference is more than its angle. its vividness and sharpness are the win. seriously. but it's vulnerable to pixel burn in.

Actually for me ,the viewing angle does not affect my daily use of this phone.. I don't even view it in a more than 90 degree angle...
