My prayers goes to the folks in Japan right now. Earthquake 8.9 in magnitude, and tsunami 10m tall, with aftershock mini tsunami is now racing inland in eastern Japan. Sendai airport is under water.

Another quake? Just read it was 6.9 this morning..

6.9 on thursday i think.

Watch the livestream live on Al-Jazeera. Sendai airport under water. Oil refinery ablaze. Cars tossed around like nothing in massive sea of debris. Waves racing inland and ripping roads and farmland to shred. It's like 2012. The wave racing inland looks eerily like Days After Tomorrow.

I can barely make out places I can recognize, but now either strewn with sea of debris, water damages, and just now they've shown the area in Chiba enveloped in smoke from oil refinery explosion. Pictures from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea is equally troubling. I pray that these places are spared from damage.....Speechless...

the flood footage both at al jazeera and cnn are really unbelievable

the water rose to the height of the flyover bridge just within minutes, and the guy on the bridge still not moving seeing the rapidly raising water, he only make his escape when the water hit the bridge, maybe in his never expected the water will never get that high

From Al-Jazeera, another strong imminent earthquake is poised to strike northeast Japan. As strong as the 8.9 earthquake. Another one!!? God have mercy!

watching live news from BBC now, they mention tsunami warning has been issued for russia, china, taiwan, philipine, indo and hawaii

where's warning for m'sia?? sabah is at risk also!!

Not watching the live stream. But my twitter feed is enough to show how severe this is. My prayers to everyone.

Sabah shouldn't be affected

The whole Pacific basin is now on tsunami alert. It's like dropping a huge stone on a full basin of water. That water has nowhere else to go but over the lip of that basin, a.k.a inland.

Latest Malaysian meteorological alert states that the tsunami from Japan earthquake will hit Sabah and Labuan between 6pm and 12 am today. Be safe everyone, please!
