flashed kernal, was alright for 5min, after tat stucked at homescreen then blackout, no response after pressing physical buttoms. tot tat i bricked my phone !

removed battery n its working rite now.. it really freaked me out...swt

can i know how you flashed that kernel..? like flashing ROM or using Kernel Update Utility.?

owh its always in my sd i never deleted it...

actually if follow instructions TO THE LETTER should have no problems...

yesterday helped Aeronchan installed ARHD to his DHD,
just now helped my fren installed another Darky ROm to his SGS.

yes i flashed like how i flashed ROM ! it happened again, was on whatsapp and same problem !

now i managed to reboot n now im on recovery mode, so i flash back the revHD 2.1 to revert back ? feeling v insecure with the 1.61 kernal.

i think there's no problem with that theme, i mean BRICK or something. as it was just a theme.

so if you flash new rom / patch (without fullwipe), if the theme still applied, meaning ok is it..?

and if you flash new rom / patch (without fullwipe), if the theme gone, just flash the theme back, meaning ok also is it..?

p/s: i said this based on my experience only. donno true or not.

lol, find a wallpaper, then use launcher pro plus, then hide notification bar, change dock icon, reallly kosong

nevertheless it's a great start! At least we can show this to iFags

uppsss.... i got it wrong. sorry... errmm, custom kernel may reflect to some part of our phone. i.e dev can tweak new drivers for graphic / audio etc.. some part can be optimized for OC/UV.. but i cannot eleborate more, as i'm not a pro over here. try ask Mr. Atsu later.

p/s: when i flashed LeeDroid v2.2.2 (bundled with lee kernel 2.2.2), i can see some improvement in display colour. i feel like it's more vivid then previous rom (leedroid v2.0.0) and i think lee's custom kernel play some part of it.

maybe it's something to do with my underclocked stats, but will try new kernels nevertheless.
