About the boot though, it has been removed in the custom ROM, which is why you don't hear it.

but still, need to flash on top .15 or .16..

what i know, if you come from .15 or 0.16, no need to full wipe but recommended.. so if you don't full-wipe, i think that no-sense theme that you applied still existed. (but i'm not 100% sure on that bold part)

but maybe you want to get that no-sense theme's .zip ready, just in case that theme auto remove after you flash .21 patch..  just in case.

i think there's no problem with that theme, i mean BRICK or something. as it was just a theme.

so if you flash new rom / patch (without fullwipe), if the theme still applied, meaning ok is it..? 

and if you flash new rom / patch (without fullwipe), if the theme gone, just flash the theme back, meaning ok also is it..?
