what shahreza2000 said totally rite , if he replace the 40gb power supply to 60gb , the power supply will not last longer ( his 60gb will not receive enough power ) , in the end he cant use both his 40gb and 60gb because the power supply already burn up , such a waste effort rite

plus replacing 40gb power supply to 60gb will not reduce the heat , it will give you instant power supply k.o

i believe there is a different ( even lots of website claim it just the same ) , the different might be the build quality of the cable itself such as materials that will improve here and there compare to " average " hdmi cable , there is a lot of version of hdmi in the market nowdays , version 1.3b are the basic hdmi cable which offer 10.2 mbps , while there is version 1.4 hdmi which offer 15.8mbps .. hdmi v1.4 definitely better in terms of performance , especially for 3D experience

currently im using sony dlc he20hf version 1.4 for all my devices

2. If you searching for slightly lower price then Malaysia PS3 , i would suggest you to get a Singapore set ( there is no probs to claim warranty from Sony Singapore cause most gameshop will offer claim on behalf service )

the cooling fan are useless , just buy ordinary ps3 slim vertical stand already enough...as long as well ventilation should be fine

btw vertical stand helps a lot to reduce the heat , so just get the vertical stand only , thats it

1. 320gb and 160gb models are the same , they even share same motherboard , the only difference .. the HDD size

2. the owner shop didnt know the true fact , basically sony stop both 160gb and 320gb models production ( temporary only ) as raw materials in japan up to 15% - 20% , so they cant supply the materials to their factory in china , current ps3 slim stock in the market are previous stocks before disaster hit Japan recently

why 320gb hard to get ? cause 320gb models almost sold out everywhere due to gamers grab them while the stock still available .. compare to 160gb its easy to get because they prefer 320gb bigger HDD size

so the videogames shop owner you asked may be got wrong info bout it...

3. get Malaysia Set as they have Official Warranty by Sony Malaysia

yes you can get any of the 320gb PS3 ( malaysian set the best ) , the firmware 3.55 , you are safe to update the latest firmware ( official firmware from sony )
