just replace with new HDD , make sure its SATA HDD 2.5" 5400rpm FAT32

basically tv manufacturer will give only 1 cable , other then that you have to buy on your own .. i think its enough 1 for astro and 1 for your ps3

struck by lightning will void the warranty , in other words no more warranty ( this apply almost all kind electronics stuff ) , yet the service centre still accept it for repair but you have to pay for the parts and labour charges

2. depends on your TV , if flat screen tv the picture quality would be great
