if you have budget for your kitchen,
CLS is the best choice in town, or else you can try cubic kitchen.

their concept is not selling design, their concept is selling carcase.

If you need a better quality kitchen, i will suggest you look for more shop. and compare the quality and price.

also you can learn more from the sales person, as you know, different sales person, different point of view.

CLS kitchen, they selling carcase. you can't require more design in your kitchen, because all of the sizes are fix. It's like a modular system.

CLS is cheap because all of the product they import themselves from china.
granite top, wood, hinge, basket.

That's why the price consider very cheap in the market.

Try to search more on forum, you can found some good feedback on KC supplier here...

Added on March 1, 2011, 1:11 amI went to CLS at Kota Damansara branch....
here is just my own feedback.

1. By looking on the showroom KC display cabinet...not happy with the Quality and Workmanship. Showroom also like tat..what happen to the buyer cabinet later?

2. Cannot provide the paper quotation. If wan to print out quotation need to pay RM200 deposit means you confirm need to order from them...?

3. I saw them provide the design by hand drawing while other can provide computer 3D design in market.

Say bye2 to CLS. never visit other branch after tat.

1.why not happy with the quality ? and workmanship ? Care to provide more details ?

2. Yes, I can confirm that CLS is not willing to print out quotation and yes they will urge you to book for the design, then only they print out the excel
sheet to let you see. Their granite is imported from China and India.
3. Yes, they dont do 3D design.

anyone anymore info, please provide.....this will be beneficial for all consumers and avoid choosing bad ones....

1. Hard to explain. You can feel it by look on their showroom KC. The cutting and joint is bad.
and their KC not attract me at all...don't have modern concept....

2. Can you accept it? This is 1st times i hear need to pay $$$ for quotation....siao

3. I don't mind hand drawing design...but if ppl have choice...ithey will go for better services.

low quality ? any reason why you say that ? is it because they import their products from china ? or is it because you have seen their work before upon setting up in ppl's house ?

staff tidak apa attitude, i dont agree. Try going to the puchong's outlet and see.

how can they just sell their price ? I dont think what you say is right, if they just sell their price, I think they are stupid, because they are not doing long term business...But if they really give cheap but not maintain quality, i know many will start to complain. It just need 1 person to complain, many will lose confident biggrin.gif

of course, rivalry also happens, so some people can also say yang bukan2 la, ohmy.gif

anyway, i think it's depends on your luck. if you read my post before. they are selling carcase (modular system) and very competitive price in the town. if you looking for quality and design, you hardly to get there.

en.. when you said that, Cavenzi (i sure u know what is that) come accross my mind, thier business concept are " we let our price do the talking " but are they stupid? i not sure, but at lease i can see, they keep on opening branch around klang valley. So, basicly, not really agree about this statement.

infill means gab at your side cabinet (Becoz mostly wall not straight)
color choice also material choice big different
carcase sizes and design fix. (Very basic carcase and design) if you dont request more design in your kitchen
if you going to have full height cabinet then the box up on the ceiling will be big

1. let say, example you have a wall to wall size for 2600mm, thier standard box are 900mm & 450mm each, so what can they do is give you 2 unit 900mm box and 1 unit 450mm box, so the rest of 350mm will be a gab.

4. let say, you have a ceiling height for 2700mm, but thier standard height is 2400mm only, so anohter 300mm will be a box up (to close the balance of space)

I don't recommend this company after looking at the photos from my college house. Cost her 18k, install by non professional, the door closed and not level, scratch here and there, and crack. Best of all, the top portion was crack, you will not notice only until you climb up and check.

She still waiting for the Manager to come back after so many complain.

Went to the modern home fair in midvalley last night.
CLS kitchen cabinet had a booth over there and their sales seemed to be pretty good.

They were also providing free granite top (but limited to only 2 colours, of course not the most common galaxy black).
Yes its true their's is modular system and their accessories are all their own one (other KC contractors generally use BLUM which is quite expensive).

Got them to come and do measurement today.
Since they had promotion during the fair, I only paid RM100 booking fee (usually RM300).

They had the pure white frameless white crystal glass cabinet doors which is what I wanted exactly.
And their estimated quotation was also reasonable given all their accessories (which come with 1 yr warranty).

They sales guy came to my house to do measurement today.
Anybody have experience using them before?

I'm really worried thinking about their workmanship after reading some of your comments here.

there's 1 contractor that is quite ok actually. He is Mr Lam...reliable and soft spoken. His number is : 0122069313....and yes, his work can do progressive payment. I think this is much more saver, as all of you already heard the horror stories of those CONtractors...in other words, a lot lah so please be extra extra extra careful.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I always have this impressions that they mark up and earn a lot from cabinet and wardrobe, no? I mean, the wood that they all use is those ply wood, not those solid wood or anything right?

I went to CLS Setia Alam, tolly screwed man...true with the tak ape attitude, I rang the bell and the staff is still borak borak with each other, then I notice she is the branch manager..do nothing but keep pushing me and keep asking me, so how? which one u want? If I know how, not giving any suggestion/idea nor anything. I will DIY.

Refused to give me their quotation in printed format as well. But what is so treasure-able with that printed quotation? Other KC maker never afraid to compete. Well seriously if they are good, they are not afraid of competition.

Wow, that's a lot of bad feedback for CLS. I had thought that they are one of the better ones in the market since they have branches here and there. I haven't bought anything from them but all I have to say is that once, they were having a "promo" - free granite top. The granite top is definitely not "free" as the price they quoted me for woodtop (which is to be replaced with "free" granite) is as much as other shops' granite.

If a kitchen not willing to print the quotation before you sign up, better dun choose them....or think twice....very weird not having quotation.....

I have surveyed a lot kitchen cabinet contractors during my renovation, all of them were giving me the quotation without say much.....

I went to homedec in Shah alam recently, yes it s true their workmanship is bad based on their display units.I find their designs are quite basic and out dated. When i asked the salesperson about kitchen cabinet that i want ( solid surface countertop and solid wood highgloss cabinet..they told me that all high gloss cabinet are compressed wood..if other company claim it's solid wood..then they lying....."...is it true?

"free" granite is not free though..they cover the cost by mark up their cabinet price, end up no difference..I got quotation from CLS, their price roughly same like Kent Kitchen..CLS wor, manaboleh.jpg that price doh.gif

If a kitchen not willing to print the quotation before you sign up, better dun choose them....or think twice....very weird not having quotation.....

I have surveyed a lot kitchen cabinet contractors during my renovation, all of them were giving me the quotation without say much.....
Ya true, some of them even give 3D design, 3D sketch.

He will not answer your text and call after sales.
