hi guys. Anyone use damiangto kernel + ext2 or ext4 filesystem? Any difference? Pls share.

if your phone suffers from dead sleep again, then it's kernel related..
using ext2 all + loops.. i didn enable the ext4 before, but ext2 is smoother than rfs =.=

I felt the dead sleep is kernel related too. Switching to speedmod may resolve the issue.

I'm not a big proponent of using ext2 as the filesystem. Ext4 is better in a lot of ways. About ext4 wear level, need to confirm with hardcore first because I vaguely remember that he made modifications to it so that there will be less data read/write.

Ext2 is of course, will give higher quadrant score. But everyone knows that score means little on our hummingbird chip right?

yup quadrant does not mean anything, but i compared ext4 on speedmod with ext2 with damian

i felt damian's is smoother though without oc.. less jerks

My phone stuck at boot animation on third reboot... Pull batt, and reboot also stuck at boot animation.
Still can go into recovery mode.

Will try to flash speedmod if nothing works to boot... Fyi, I didn't do any settings change before this... Maybe I flashed a non-wipe version... But I was coming from 2.4.1, so a non wipe should be fine I guess..

Try rebooting one or two more times...

Updates: Still stuck at boot animation forever after flash to speedmod. Finally did a factory reset, and now can boot..

Luckily I got backup my data before flashing SweetHoney 2.5..

I think the non-wipe version is unstable.

perhaps you have corrupted files before this. did you enable lagfix before flashing to 2.5? if i'm not wrong on 2.4.1, you're using speedmod? in case you did not disable, you're most likely having corrupted file system..

I did not use any lagfix in 2.4.1. Only tweaks. But I did disabled all tweaks before I flashed to 2.5.

So far you have problem with 2.5+Damian kernel?
