-Edit your apn setting. Set it to MMS only. Or just delete your apn if you don't ever want to use it.
-if you're on newer firmware (2.2.1), you can turn off your data temporarily by holding down power button and select Data Network Mode.
-if you think that's complicated, download apndroid from market, add a widget to switch data on-off on your homescreen.
-And H connection is faster than 3g, that's why some people disabled it to get more battery life. Luckily, I have Sanyo Mobile Booster to provide extra 5000 mAh for my phone. hehe

then, when I try that aTrackDog app, I know that ScreenFilter app has been updated to version 1.1
And I immediately check android market, and magically it's there. Weird lol

Heavy use: nearly 2 days.
--wifi (or 3G, according to place), gps and Auto sync (google and facebook) on all the time.
--playing games for 2 hours or more.
--chatting with friends (google talk, pingchat, yahoo messenger)

light use: don't know coz always have a reason to use my phone.

No real improvement over 10.1 for us Froyo users. No need to get hyped up. Wait for it to release officially lah. But, thanks for the link.

i used the sgs tools, upgrade stock apps, hacked camera.apk

now whenever i want to switch to video mode, it said "camera fail"....

Big relief...manage to flash back to Stock Rom Eclair using ODIN v1.3. Now in process flashing to CUSTOM Rom.

ODIN rocks and save out galaxy no matter what happened

You can restore stock camera using SGS Tools. Maybe the hacked camera.apk doesn't work for your ROM.
