Gold has dropped further to US$1,705. I think its gonna keep falling over the week probably testing the US$1,600-1,650 barrier soon. No bad news from Europe or US yet. European stocks are doing well as we speak with Wall Street expected to follow through. So gold will surely drop further today and tomorrow. Those of you planning to invest now, please dont. Wait till next week at least and then make a decison.

Not yet. But now I want to buy more too! (Heck, if I knew it was correcting like crazy, I shoulda waited to bank in that cash at 1860 .. or sold at 1900!)

Added on August 25, 2011, 6:30 pmUSD 1650 looks like a good bet on stabilisation.

For those who see charts, you will notice the very clear bearish signal on the H4, head & shoulder. Now the question lies at, when to top up! I dont know and i would compound little by little as it drops. And when it shows some clear bull signs again, i will add more. Many will consider to catch the top and bottom, believe it or not, it requires skills and dozen lucks! Good luck.

Does anyone know if the finess of the gold in UOB the same as Public Bank?

$1740. Gold refuses to drop below 1700. I think that's the lowest point. See what happens tonight midnight. If it stabilize back, I think the correction has ended?
