i went to acca kappa after u guys suggested to go there... looks really nice but i mean... it looks too nice for me to use it... but im thinking of throwing my current shaver and buy the olde style...
keep it coming guys... i learn loads of stuff over here...
Just went to haniffa 30 mins ago, they have plenty Gillette laser and super max blades some Wilkinson swords at the counter also. Got myself some blades to try out and also tabac and old spice cream.
razor burns hurts like hell .. and especially if u draw blood while shaving too
depends on the razor blade too i think....
i remember using the good ol' gillette necet razor blade and it almost never burns. can reuse it for a couple of times before i throw it away because its getting blunt.
the cheap razor blade usually what makes the razor burn
was looking for a cheap shaving soap and bumped to arko... watch some reviews, some like it some dont. so i asked the question since most of u guys familiar with it.
i mean for that cheap of a price i guess why not right? now in the middle of collecting some funds to buy proper shaving stuff and got some sweet deals.
So my stainless shavette from Connaught Shaving just broke this morning...the rivet holding it together rusted away.
I've just ordered another el cheapo shavette from Aliexpress, which will probably reach me in 1 month+.
Thinking of trying my hand at straight razors. Any recommendations?
u want the ones with the razor blade slot or the knife ones?
tried the cheap ones that the local indian barber use one (the plastic ones) with Gillette razor (the normal ones i guess). kindda nerve wrecking when doing it urself for the 1st time but if u get the hang of the angle u should be fine. and that cheap razor did just fine.
thats the extend of my knowledge of straight razor. never try the knife ones... looks fun thou but i havent shaved like 4-5 years now so i dont think i'll be seeing any razor on my face soon lol...
