Just started reading this thread and I face the same issue with TS. Anyone can reommend me where I can go to purchase all of the equipment to try these? Currently using the supermarket stuff so curious to try out and aim for a cleaner shave

QUOTE(patryn33 @ Sep 25 2017, 02:29 AM) What is your budget? Is budgeting RM200 enough? Otherwise, I can always double it. To me it's more about achieving a smooth and close shave that matters most. I saw the link to the Rockwell 6C, that looks good. Any places I can purchase similar types razors locally? Would like to go to the shop and check them out.You can get nice badger brush, stand and bowl on AliExpress Soap I like menthol if you like it in the hot weather try proraso shaving soap. Easy to leather Razor for starter I recommend Rockwell 6C. https://www.westcoastshaving.com/safety-raz...ASABEgJ4XvD_BwE Fatip open comb is pretty aggressive can give very close shave. don't own one but I do won the Muhle R41 https://www.maggardrazors.com/product/fatip...-nickel-finish/ |

QUOTE(patryn33 @ Sep 26 2017, 02:34 AM) no sure if there are any shops that lets u test out on your face locally or Singapore. Not looking to test on my face but at least have the product for me to see or view it I guess. for aggressive razor, are you willing to take more time shaving? http://www.fatip.it/the-razor/?lang=en https://www.muehle-shaving.com/en/Shop/TRAD...ated-metal.html Trying not to spend too much time shaving as well haha. Unless you guys here say that old school way is definitely slower than those Gillette mass produced types? |
